Last weekend, we said goodbye to a very special member of the Bark n Purr family. The love and support we’ve received from our community has meant more than we can put into words.

We especially want to thank everyone who made donations in Grizz's honor to the Moonsong Malamute Rescue, the rescue where his journey with us first began. Knowing that his memory is helping other dogs in need is incredibly meaningful to us.

Thank you for loving him alongside us. 🖤

It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce that Grizz, our beloved shop dog, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Grizz originally came to us back in 2023 after being rescued by Moonsong Malamute Rescue. Over weight and under loved he quickly went from rags to riches when he was placed in a foster home with Jen and Mike, the owners of Bark n Purr.

Very quickly we learned just how big of a loving goofball he was and the foster home became a foster fail.

Always waiting patiently to go on his morning walks and start his shift at Bark n Purr. He never turned down a cod skin or a head scratch from a visitor and always brightened everyone's day.

We want to give a special thank you to the volunteers at Moonsong Malamute Rescue for bringing him into our lives and giving us the best last 3 years any of us could have asked for. Grizz is gone too soon but his memory will live on forever in our hearts as we know he will live on in yours.

In lieu of flowers we are asking that if you feel it in your hearts please make a donation to Moonsong Malamute Rescue in memory of our dear sweet boy, Grizz. Gone but never forgotten.
