Our sweet little Honey badger 🦡 will be heading to her guardian family in Idaho next week. 🥹❤️ This one is truly a hard one for us.

Honey has been our keeper from Hazel and Dash since day one, and over these last 4 months, we have all gotten SO attached to her. She has such a special place in our hearts, which makes this even harder.

But with our upcoming move and all the changes happening around us, we really feel like this is the best thing for Honey right now. She is going to be spoiled, loved, and completely adored by her new family while we navigate all the craziness of this transition.

It’s definitely bittersweet. We’re going to miss having her here with us every day, but we’re also so excited to watch her start this next chapter in Idaho. And knowing she’ll still be a part of Bridges Goldendoodles makes it a little easier. ❤️

Willow and I are off to Idaho in the morning! 🥰🐾 She’s headed to her new guardian family, and I couldn’t be more excited for her!

They seem like such a fun, loving family, and I already know Willow is going to be so loved and spoiled. ❤️ I’m honestly just as excited to get to know her family and hopefully spend some time hanging out with them too!

This Idaho journey is becoming more and more real, one guardian family at a time. 🥹❤️ I’m so grateful for the amazing families who are helping me grow Bridges Goldendoodles in Idaho while I continue my program in Nevada.

Question about guardian family 😊

I've been getting many questions about becoming a guardian family. I thought this post might help some understand better….
A guardian home is a partnership between a family and a breeder.

Instead of keeping all of our breeding dogs in our home, we place select females in carefully chosen guardian homes where they can live as full-time pets and get the one-on-one attention they deserve.

The dog is your family pet—you raise her, love her, and she lives with you. We, as the breeder, retain breeding rights for a few litters.

When she is ready to be bred, we coordinate with you. During breeding and whelping, she will come back to us for a short period of time. We cover all breeding-related expenses, including health testing, breeding, and whelping care.

Guardian families are responsible for routine care such as food, grooming, and regular vet visits.

Once she has completed her agreed number of litters, she is spayed at our expense and full ownership is signed over to you.

This program allows our dogs to live in loving homes while maintaining a responsible, high-quality breeding program. It’s important that guardian families are flexible, communicative, and committed to working as a team throughout the process.

We are looking for the perfect guardian family for our sweet Willow! 🐾

Willow is 4 months old and is expected to be around 35 lbs full grown. She has the sweetest, most loving temperament and is just an absolute joy. We are looking for a family who will love her as their own and give her the spoiled, family life she deserves. 🤍

We are on a bit of a time crunch with our upcoming move and will be staying in a rental for a little while, so we are hoping to find her perfect family sooner rather than later.

Tinker Bell is officially in her guardian home in Idaho! 🥹🤍

It’s honestly so crazy because this makes everything feel SO much more real. We’re slowly starting to build our program in Idaho while still continuing here in Nevada, and watching it all come together is such an exciting feeling.

A huge thank you to Tink’s family for trusting me, opening their home to her, and being willing to help our family’s dream become a little more real. 🥹🤍

We are so thankful for the amazing families who believe in what we’re building and are willing to be part of this journey with us. One step at a time, we’re getting there! 🐾✨
