This was Wednesday's run through Boise's Military Reserve and Crestline Trail:

5.57 miles
713 ft of elevation gain
846 calories burned
8,725 steps
1 hour 2 minutes of real, purposeful exercise

We track every session like this for every dog in our care. Not because we're data nerds (okay, maybe a little), but because knowing your dog's pace, elevation tolerance, and step count is the difference between a good workout and the RIGHT workout.

A dog that needs 8,000 steps a day to stay healthy gets a very different plan than one who thrives at 4,000. High-energy breeds working up to harder terrain get monitored differently than seniors managing joint health. If you’re the kind of person who treats pets like family and takes safety seriously, we’d love to meet you.

Overnight sitters are a huge part of what we do at Zen Pet Care. You’re the calm, steady presence that keeps routines normal, meds on schedule, and pet parents totally at ease while they’re away.

What we’re looking for:
✅ Responsible, dependable, and great with dogs (and cats!)
✅ Comfortable following detailed care instructions (feeding, meds, routines)
✅ Confident handling leashes, crates, and basic safety protocols
✅ Great communicator (we love sending updates + photos)
✅ Local to Boise / Garden City / Treasure Valley

Bonus points if you have pet first aid experience (our team is Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certified).
