Earthly Delights Farm

Earthly Delights Farm Earthly Delights Farm is one of the oldest urban farms in Boise, Idaho. For 18 years, we turned vacant city lots into productive gardens.

Now we're working on starting a farm incubator in Boise so other beginning farmers have somewhere to grow. We grow vegetables, fruits, flowers, herbs, and seeds on ground we share with Draggin' Wing Farm in Northwest Boise. Our produce is primarily available through an 18-week CSA and our seeds are available through the Snake River Seed Cooperative at several local nurseries and through the websit

e (www.snakeriverseeds.com). Casey O'Leary is the main farmer, and each season she trains 6-7 apprentices in the art and science of intensive vegetable gardening and seed production, sharing with them her love of the natural world, particularly the parts involving dirt, sex, and pollination. She also offers several workshops and classes on various garden topics to the larger community. For more information, please visit the website!

I'm sure my friends all have long lists of worthy organizations you're stoked to donate to during Idaho Gives this week, but if you have room in your Idaho Gives budget, we're launching our fundraising campaign for Taproots Farm Hub during IG. Everyone who donates becomes a member of our Founders Sowing Circle, and you'll be helping us bring this game-changing farm incubator project to life! Thank you for supporting the future of Treasure Valley agriculture!

I’m ready to support Taproots Farm Hub on May 4, 2026 during Idaho Gives 2026. Learn more about Taproots Farm Hub and all the other organizations participating in Idaho Gives 2026.

Seed Savers, Get Your Seeds Ready!
Want to Learn? Come to Seed Saving 101!

To kick off our 10th Anniversary, we are having our first Seed Swap in 3 years! We started celebrating Seedy Saturday with respect to the movement in Canada which promotes free or inexpensive events where people are encouraged to use open-pollinated and heirloom seeds in a local seed exchange. These events often include education about seed saving and gardening practices that are environmentally responsible.

Come learn, swap seeds, and then hang out and mingle while still reveling in the abundant potential of all the saved seeds that will be there!

While you're mingling, be sure to stop by the tables we'll have for our community partners, including:

Ariel Agenbroad, our local University of Idaho Food Systems and Small Farms Educator, will be on hand to share urban farming resources, new Extension publications, upcoming programs, and to chat with you about growing food, small farm enterprises, opportunities for military veterans, and more! Come say hi and grab a soil thermometer and germination chart while supplies last.

The Treasure Valley Pollinator Project is a community-wide effort to increase pollinator habitat - right in our own backyards. Each year we pick a pollinator to focus on - this year it is birds and bumblebees. Come see us to get more information about how you can participate
