Many of you know me through Bark Bath & Beyond, but over the years so many of my clients have become much more than clients — you’ve become friends and an incredible community around my family and me.

This week, my family experienced a devastating and unexpected loss. My brother’s children’s mother suddenly passed away, leaving behind their two very young children.

I’ve temporarily stepped away from some of my normal business responsibilities to be with my family and help however I can during these first incredibly difficult days.

We’ve created a GoFundMe to help with cremation and final expenses, food and necessities for the children, housing assistance, and the many unexpected costs that come with trying to create stability for two little ones after suddenly losing their mom.

I know times are hard for everyone, so please don’t ever feel obligated to donate. Even sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to us and could help it reach someone who is able to contribute.

To everyone who has already been patient with appointments, checked on me, sent kind messages, or offered support — thank you. I can’t adequately express how much it means to my family right now. ❤️

What an absolutely perfect bbq day with all of you. I couldn’t imagine anything more perfect of a way to celebrate my 10 years. The feelings I had inside just seeing everybody together, the dogs playing, it was beautiful. ❤️ thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of those who came! These are the photos I personally got! If you have any please post them! My dogs are dead tired now! 🤣

Quick reminder that our BBQ is happening tomorrow! 🌭🍔
We’re so excited to see everyone, hang out, and celebrate together. Don’t forget to bring a dish if you signed up—can’t wait for all the good food, happy pups, and fun!

Please let me know if you need the location. When you arrive there will be a gate on the right side of the house/garage. It’s a double gate system so nobody can escape when each gate is shut/opened one at a time! I rented the backyard so we do not have access to inside the home! ❤️

🐾 A Quick Note on Grooming Senior Dogs 🐾

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of grooming many pups from their younger days into their senior years — and with that comes some important changes.

As dogs age, they may become more sensitive, less tolerant of handling, or unable to safely stand for longer periods. Because of this, some parts of the groom (especially detailed areas like the head or face) may need to be adjusted or simplified.

Please know:
I will never rush or push a senior dog beyond what is safe just to achieve a “perfect” look.

My priority is — and always will be — your dog’s comfort and safety.

I understand that this can be an adjustment, but aging is a natural part of life, and grooming should support their well-being, not stress them.
