❤️Meet Emily, one of our amazing veterinary technicians!❤️

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Emily has been part of the Heartland team for almost 4 years! Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine are caring for critical patients and helping educate pet owners about their animals' health.

Emily also has some pretty remarkable pets of her own! Her Pit Bull, Tatanka, helped save lives as a blood donor for Heartland patients before retiring last year. Her cat Cookie 21 years old! Emily rescued Cookie as an injured stray when she was just 12 years old, and they've been together ever since.

As if veterinary medicine doesn't keep her busy enough, Emily is also attending school to become a registered nurse! In her free time, she enjoys CrossFit and volunteering at CrossFit competitions.

We're so grateful for Emily's compassion, hard work, and dedication to helping animals when they need it most! 🐾

🌸It's time to celebrate Ashley!🌸

For the past 7 years, Ashley has been an important part of the Heartland team, and her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is that there's always something new to learn!

Originally from Gaffney, SC, Ashley loves having the opportunity to grow her knowledge and skills every day while helping care for our patients. 🩺🐾

At home, she's kept busy by her two Lab mixes, Stormy and Tessie, and four cats! When she's not surrounded by animals, Ashley enjoys reading, gardening, and getting creative with crafts. 📚🌿

Thank you, Ashley, for your dedication to learning, growing, and providing wonderful care to our patients over the years! ❤️

🐶Say hello to Collin!🐱

Collin joined the Heartland team this summer, bringing his love for animals and people all the way from Chattanooga, Tennessee!

When asked what he loves most about working in veterinary medicine, his answer was simple: the pets and the people! ❤️

And speaking of pets, Collin has quite the crew at home: Olive, a Doberman/Foxhound mix; Daenerys, a Great Pyrenees; and three cats named June, Meep, and Sammy. 🐾

When he's not at the hospital, you might find him hunting, cooking, building computers, or watching documentaries.

We're so happy to have Collin on our team and can't wait to see him continue to grow at Heartland!

🐾 Meet Alex! 🐾

We're kicking off our Vet Tech Week spotlights by celebrating Alex, who has been part of the Heartland family for 7 years! ❤️

A Spartanburg native, Alex says her favorite part of veterinary medicine is working alongside pet owners to find the best ways to care for their furry family members. Building those relationships and helping pets live their happiest, healthiest lives is what makes her work so rewarding!

Outside of Heartland, Alex enjoys spending quality time with her family and her 10-year-old cat, Galloway. 🐱

Thank you, Alex, for 7 years of compassion, dedication, and care for our patients and their families! 💕
