Hello Heartland Family!🐾

As we get ready to celebrate Memorial Day weekend with fireworks, cookouts, and time spent with friends and family, we want to remind everyone to plan ahead for your furry friends who may struggle with the noise and excitement.

If your pet may need calming medications, please reach out to us as soon as possible! To ensure we can refill medications before the holiday weekend, please contact us by tomorrow evening at 5:30 PM.

Need a refill or think your dog or cat may benefit from medication? Give us a call at 864-578-1220 to request a refill or schedule an appointment so we can get your pet seen and prescribed if needed.

Happy Vet Reception Week! 🎉

To wrap up this year’s celebration, we’re excited to introduce our wonderful CSR, Rylee! 🐾

Rylee has been with Heartland for a little under a year, and we are so lucky to have her on our team. She is incredibly enthusiastic, kind, and always eager to learn new skills. Her favorite animals are dogs, especially boxers!

A self-proclaimed caffeine fiend, you can often find her with a Juneberry Red Bull at her station. Rylee is also a proud “workaholic” and has been enthusiastically cross-training in the back as a veterinary assistant. Her dream is to become a licensed veterinary technician!

In her free time, Rylee enjoys listening to music and spending time with her friends, family, and her adorable dog, Hudson. One of her favorite Heartland memories so far has been getting her first successful blood draw, and she loves being hands-on with patients while continuing to learn and grow.

Happy Vet Reception Week! 🎉

This Thursday, we’re celebrating our amazing CSR, Laurin! 🐾

Laurin has been with Heartland for a little under a year, but she brings a wealth of veterinary medicine experience to our team. Her favorite animals are cats, especially snow leopards!

Outside of work, Laurin is an avid member of her local choir, the Master Chorale, and a proud Gamecocks fan. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, as well as going to the movies and the theatre.

One of her favorite Heartland memories was making tie-dyed t-shirts for Vet Staff Appreciation Week. What she loves most about her role is helping our fur babies get happy and healthy.

Looking ahead, Laurin hopes to travel and find a role that allows her to work from home while still using her math skills and passion for animals.

Happy Vet Reception Week! 🎉

This Wednesday, we’re excited to highlight our amazing receptionist, Aggie! 🐾

Aggie has been a valued CSR at Heartland for 3 years and consistently shows empathy and compassion to every client and patient who walks through our doors. Her favorite animal is dogs, and outside of work she enjoys cooking out, grilling burgers, and relaxing with a frozen Coke.

She loves spending time with her family, being a mom to her adorable son Ezra, and continuing to build her homestead in her free time.

One of Aggie’s favorite Heartland memories was watching our team and their pets participate in the Christmas parade. Her favorite part of the job is being able to support our clients and patients with the utmost compassion during emotional times.

Happy Vet Reception Week! 🎉

This Tuesday, we’re excited to highlight another one of our amazing receptionists, Tasha! 🐾

Tasha has been part of the Heartland team for over 5 years and is currently working toward her veterinary technician license. You can find her up front helping clients and answering phones, or in the back building her skills alongside our incredible VA and technician team.

Her favorite animals are owls and golden retrievers, and in her free time she loves spending time outdoors, whether that’s at the beach or in the mountains with her family.

One of Tasha’s favorite memories at Heartland has been all of her “firsts” while cross-training, including placing her first IV catheter and mastering blood draws. Her favorite part of the job is connecting with clients and meeting all of the adorable fur babies that come through our doors.

She’s excited to continue learning and growing with her Heartland family. 💙

Each day, we’re celebrating and highlighting our incredible front desk team, and today we’re kicking things off with Robyn! 🐾

Robyn has been part of the Heartland family for 7 years. Her favorite animals are dogs, especially pitties! When she’s not at work, you can usually find her enjoying some quiet time reading or playing word games.

One of her favorite memories at Heartland was when the team made t-shirts in support of her adorable dog, Lucky, during his battle with cancer. 💙

What Robyn loves most about her job is building relationships with our clients and their pets, and the strong bond she shares with her work family.

Hello Heartland friends! 🐾

Do you have old newspapers taking up space around your home? Our patients would love to put them to good use! We use newspaper to line kennels for our hospitalized pets, and we’re currently running low on our supply.

If you have any to spare, feel free to drop them off at the hospital:
🕗 Monday–Friday: 8am–6pm
🕗 Saturday: 8am–1pm
