He’ll happily hop up beside you, lean his whole body into you for pets, or even curl up in your lap for some quality snuggle time. He enjoys getting attention and is wonderfully gentle when taking treats. Not necessarily! All suspicious lumps and bumps should be assessed to determine if they are benign or malignant. Cancerous dermal tumors may be localized and treated to prevent internal spreading. Dermal tumors are located in your pet’s skin. They often appear firm, raised, and attached to the skin.

Subcutaneous tumors are located beneath the skin in the fat layer and connective tissue and are usually softer and more moveable than dermal tumors.

These tumors can appear anywhere on your dog’s body but are commonly located in the trunk, limbs, neck, and face. If you spot any of these lumps and bumps on your dog, bring them in for a non-invasive HT Vista scan.

✈️🐶 Traveling to Mexico with your dog? There's an important new requirement to know!
Beginning today August 3, 2026, dogs traveling from the United States to Mexico must have a New World Screwworm Inspection Certificate before entering Mexico.

Here's what you need to know:
🐾 A USDA-accredited veterinarian must examine your dog.
📋 The certificate confirms your dog is free of New World Screwworm.
🗓️ The examination must be completed within 5 days of travel.
😺 Cats are not affected by this new requirement.

Don't forget: Dogs returning to the U.S. from Mexico still need the required screwworm-free certification to re-enter the United States.

Many international destinations have their own travel requirements as well, so it's important to start planning months before your trip. Travel documents often require specific vaccines, testing, treatments, and paperwork that must be completed on a strict timeline.
