Spotlight....Dr. Tim Crowe. Dr. Crowe is an integral part of our staff, and our success. He is Board Certified in Surgery and Emergency/Critical Care. Over the past 25 years, Dr. Crowe has been called to service countless times at Mars Hill for critically ill patients in need of life saving, specialized surgery, and he has made the difference in those patient's lives. He is brilliant in the O.R., and he doesn't stop there....Dr. Crowe is a firefighter and a First Responder in Oconee County, where he impacts the lives of humans, as well. He is a Dad, a Grandpa, and a Great Grandpa. His years of dedication to our practice are greatly appreciated, and we have been so blessed by his skill.

Spotlight…..Tiffani Amabile Adcock.
Tiffani, our lead RVT,, has been with Mars Hill Animal Hospital since it was just a thought on paper. She started her veterinary career as a receptionist at the original location in Monroe while attending Gwinnet Technical College. Alongside Dr. Gross, Tiffani helped mold Mars Hill into the compassionate and exceptionally caring veterinary hospital that it is today. Tiffani has a tremendous passion for patient care and helping anything that walks in the front door. She also offers aid, off the clock, by frequently answering phone calls and text messages from concerned pet parents (both friends and family). Her commitment to veterinary medicine and patient care is extreme and unrivalled. While not at work or responding to health care questions, Tiffani has been found over the years at the baseball field, watching any or all of her sons play ball. She has a strong commitment to family, including her husband Brian, her 3 sons (Cameron, Braedon and Patrick), as well as her boy’s significant others, her Mom, her siblings and their spouses, her numerous nephews and nieces, step children, Alyssa and Josh, and their children, and many others. Tiffani and Brian are also pet parents to numerous dogs and cats, often giving a home to an animal in need. Mars Hill Animal Hospital is the hospital it is today because of Tiffani and her true love of veterinary medicine.

Spotlight...... Jessica Wolford. Jessica is one of our RVTs. She graduated from UGA, and the AAHA Veterinary Technician program. She has been employed by Mars Hill for 14 years. She started out as a Patient Care Attendant while attemding UGA , and quickly decided that she desired to be involved in the nursing aspect of Veterinary Medicine, and through hard work and dedication, she maintained full time hours while obtaining her RVT status. Jessica is dedicated to her profession, and provides knowledgeable and compassionate care to her patients. When not working, Jessica enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband, Adam, and their daughter, Olivia. She throws an awesome party, and is at the top of the game when it comes to decorations, and hand made celebratory signs. She has spent time learning how to do complex long hair designs, and everyone can't wait to see "What Olivia is wearing", so we can see what beautiful hairstyle Jessica has created. He posts sharing Olivia's style is something her social media followers look forward to. Jessica is mom to two dogs, Tilly and Sasha, and Co Mom to tripod Henry.

Spotlight.....Jess Harbison. Jess is one of our Client Services Representatives, providing support and care to the humans attached to the animal patients that Mars Hill cares for. Jess came to us with experience in Pet Care, and her knowledge has been beneficial in her role at Mars Hill. She easily manages the dozens of phone calls and in person visits that take place on a daily basis. Jess and her husband Steven reside in the area, and call themselves parents to three dogs and three cats. Jess is a very talented artist, she creates lifelike pet portraits commissioned by owners, and has made several for clients. As an artist, it would be tough to find anyone that would be a better choice to create something beautiful.

Spotlight..... Jennifer Burch. Jennifer is one of our Client Service Representatives. She had many years of experience in Veterinary Medicine before being hired at Mars Hill, and is knowledgeable in every position. When staff members have needed help in other sections of the hospital, Jennifer has jumped in without hesitation to help accomplish the mission. Jennifer is dependable, and a great communicator, she bridges many gaps with clients whenever there are concerns, and is able to answer many questions on her own, without seeking information elsewhere. Having her at the front desk makes it easier for staff members in other areas of the hospital, and her dedication to providing compassionate care to the clients, is complimentary to our compassion for our patients. When Jennifer is not caring for the humans that walk in the door of our practice, she is busy being called Mom, and raising a daughter, Emma. She is also the parent to an Orange Tabby, female, named Jeffrey.

Spotlight.....Ximena Baez-Avila. Ximena is one of our Veterinary Assistants and has been with Mars Hill for many years, as she worked through college, and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University Of North Georgia. Ximena has dedicated many years to growing in the Veterinary profession, and has become a valued member of our nursing staff. She is patient and compassionate, with the animals in her care, and she has become accomplished at educating clients about their pet's needs. When Ximena is not caring for patients at Mars Hill, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and is mom to a Cat named Coqueta.

Spotlight..... LeAnne Charles. LeAnne is our hospital manager, and has been part of Dr. Gross' staff for 30 years. All the way from Texas, she was working towards a teaching degree attending college in Georgia, and applied at our first location in Monroe. After achieving that degree, and teaching for a period of time, LeAnne decided that Veterinary Medicine had her heart, and she returned full time at our location at Mars Hill, and furthered her studies by obtaining her CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager). LeAnne is kind, compassionate, level headed, and possesses a loyalty to the practice that she helped build by maintaining superior hospital standards, and helping each staff member achieve goals that they have set for themselves. Her door is always open, and she is a great asset for the practice. When LeAnne is not steering the ship at Mars Hill, she enjoys travel with her husband, Brad, and supporting her son Cid in all of his endeavors...she was a Mic mom at Prince Avenue Christian School for the many years that Cid was involved in the drama department before his High School graduation. LeAnne also calls herself mom to a dog, Sable Abigail, and several kitties. We would not be the practice we are, without LeAnne.
