At 9 years young, Flynn is proof that age is just a number! With his bright eyes, happy smile, and playful personality, he still looks ready for his next adventure.
When Mom starts preparing dinner, Flynn has a tradition of his own—he breaks into the cutest little twirls like he's performing in a circus. 🎪 It's impossible not to smile watching his happy dance! Thank you, Flynn, for brightening our day every time you visit. We think you're pretty special!

☀️🐾 Summer Safety Series: Week 8 🐾☀️

The last of our summer series!
When in doubt, don't wait.

As we wrap up our Summer Safety Series, we're ending with one of the most important topics of all: heatstroke.

Texas summers can be dangerous for pets, and heatstroke can develop faster than many people realize.

Watch for:

🥵 Excessive panting

💧 Excessive drooling

🚶 Weakness or stumbling

🤢 Vomiting

😴 Lethargy

🚨 Collapse or unresponsiveness

If you suspect your pet may be suffering from heatstroke, move them to a cool area, offer small amounts of water, and contact your veterinarian immediately.

Heatstroke is a medical emergency, and minutes matter.

"Wish I could give this clinic more than 5 stars! Dr. Hamad and his staff are AMAZING!!! Firstly, Dr. Hamad is incredibly smart and caring. You very quickly realize how knowledgeable he is and he makes you feel comfortable, never rushed. My dog has sensitive skin and is prone to ear infections and Dr. Hamad is the first veterinarian who has been able to get the flare-ups under control for an extended period of time.
Secondly, the staff and their customer service is incredible! They are always very friendly and in a great mood. Although my dog gets a little nervous when the examination starts, the clinic is so welcoming that he never fights me to go in!
Thirdly, the clinic hours are great and they always offer same-day appointments even if it's close to their closing time. The pricing is also very reasonable compared to other vets who sometimes upcharge.
I truly can't say enough good things about Dr. Hamad, his team and the clinic. Every time I leave the clinic, I leave with a smile on my face and confident that my dog had the BEST care no matter the issue."

☀️🐾 **Summer Safety Series: Week 5** 🐾☀️

Just a few minutes can make a big difference.

As temperatures rise, the inside of a parked vehicle can heat up much faster than many people realize. Even with the windows cracked, pets can quickly become uncomfortable and at risk for heat-related illness.

A few ways to help keep your pet safe this summer:

🏠 Leave pets at home when running errands whenever possible
🚗 Remember that cracked windows don't provide enough cooling on hot days
💧 Make sure your pet always has access to fresh water

Signs of heat distress may include excessive panting, drooling, restlessness, weakness, or lethargy. If you notice any of these signs, move your pet to a cool area and contact your veterinarian right away.

✨ Not every outing needs to be a pet outing. On hot summer days, many pets are happiest and safest relaxing in the comfort of home. ✨
