Dog lovers we need you to become puppy raisers you can raiser from anywhere in the USA. The primary raiser must be 18 or older. You can get a baby puppy or a prison dog then you teach it 30 basic cues socialize it and love as your own then at 16-18 months turn them into professional training where they will learn special tasks in 6-9 months before being matched as a possible service or facility dog visit canine.org/raise to learn more

Volunteer puppy raisers provide puppies a safe home and healthy diet, take them to obedience classes and provide socialization opportunities.

Happy ✨🌇 - a time we've dedicated to featuring Canine Companions future Golden.

This playful pup is adorable, but there's much more to her than that. Puppy Golden was named in honor of our organization's 50th anniversary, and she's a reminder of how far we've come over the past 50 years.

As she continues on her journey to becoming a future service dog, she also helps inspire hope and excitement for a future where our services are available to all eligible people with disabilities.

As part of her training, Golden loves visiting her local park where she practices socialization and basic tasks. With her eagerness to learn, she's well on her way to becoming a canine partner!
