Being pregnant as a dog sitter is different. I didn’t realize how much would change. Watching the dogs I sit change how they play with me (more gentle) or just being very close. Usually when we are outside Barney will lay in the sun far away in the grass to watch the world go by. He used to fight me to come inside too.

Now he’s laying at my feet while we soak in the sun. He comes in so easily. And if he does jump, it’s so gentle.

Not just him but others too. They lay their heads on my tummy. They take up a position of protector and it makes me realize how BLESSED we are to have dogs. How amazing their senses are to know and tell the change in hormones.

I love these guys so much 🥹

Hi everyone!
My name is Zeus. I am finding myself in need of a new home. My mom wants nothing more than to keep me home with her. But, I had an incident that wasn’t really my fault. Someone let me out by accident while my mom is healing from surgery and I got into a little scuffle with the neighbor dog. Unfortunately, due to my breed my mom is not allowed to keep me anymore even though I’m a REALLY good boy! I just don’t like other big dogs due to my past and he likes to pick on me. I do GREAT with little dogs although I prefer to meet them first.

My ✨AMAZING✨ attributes are:

🐾 I’m so handsome.
🐾 I’m soooo loyal
🐾I’m Middle Aged so I like to cuddle on the couch.

🐾 I’m still young enough to like walks, although given how I struggle with bigger dogs I would like quiet walks! Like cemeteries are great for a boy like me to walk in!

🐾 I am trained for a muzzle- so if you can’t avoid it- I’m comfortable in a basket muzzle

🐾 I like older kids but they have to be respectful.

🐾I have alllll my vaccines and I’m neutered (RIP to my manhood)

I would do better as an only dog. Just because I will miss my mom a lot and it’ll take time to adjust.

Plus my cousin Ali, the owner of Happy Little Paws would help me get acclimated if I go somewhere local to her!

Please message her. She will also be doing a vet reference. Because my life matters to her and wants to make sure I’m going to a good family!

Guys, it’s an exciting day because BARNEY ATE EVERYTHING FOR LUNCH ALL 5 DAYS!

This sweet boy has IBD and some other things going on so he doesn’t always feel like eating and it’s a real challenge. But he did it all without throwing his temper tantrums 💕💕💕

So in celebration of him eating so well for me. For every like or comment congratulating him- he will get a snoot smooch! (Nose kisses are his favorite!)

Claire wanted to tell everyone.

The reason I have been absent from online. Is because we have been keeping a secret!

Claire’s new sibling (which will not look like her much to her dismay) will arrive September 2026. I will not be taking over night bookings for the few months after for obvious reasons ☺️🩷💙
