Exciting news from BVC! 🐾💙

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Faith Shupard to our BVC family! We are so excited to be able to share her care and compassion with all of our favorite pets and their people! 🐾💙

Dr. Faith Shupard is a native of the South Carolina Lowcountry. She knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian which led her to pursue her bachelor's degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences at Clemson University. After graduating Clemson summa cm laude with honors, she chose to attend veterinary school at Mississippi State. Through her education there, she found her passion for small animal medicine, especially general surgery and internal medicine.

In her spare time, Dr. Shupard enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring the outdoors either hiking, running or kayaking, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers. She can usually be found with her Mississippi mutt, Penny, by her side. 🐶

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about A Place to Paws! From the moment we arrived, the staff made both myself and Bella feel completely comfortable and welcome!
The facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained, and it’s obvious that the team truly loves and cares for the animals.
During Bella’s stay, I received updates (photos and great emails from front desk, amazing!) and could tell she was getting plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for — which gave me such peace of mind while I was away.
It’s hard to find a place you can fully trust with your furry family member, but this facility exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, professional, and dependable dog boarding services. We will definitely be back!”

Sarah Peeler came in for her annual shots. She's a real therapy dog, and gave us all cute therapy during her visit! 🩷🐶
