Our November Schooling Saturday and fall clinic dates are set! 🎉

We are excited to share that Jay Duke will be joining us again for a clinic! In addition to offering private and group sessions, Jay will also be participating in our November Schooling Saturday event! Jay will be designing our Schooling Saturday course and will be offering feedback to all horses and riders. Feedback can be given after each trip and used in your next course, or feedback can be given at the conclusion of all of your rounds. Pair a clinic session with Schooling Saturday and have an unparalleled learning experience. We are so excited to provide this opportunity to learn (and have a little bit of fun)!!

Dates -
Schooling Saturday: November 7
Jay Duke Clinic: November 5-8

Aiken Fall Festival 2026 🐴
Highlights:
•Paddy Pepper & Lily Bailey dominated the Modified 1.15 bringing home clear rounds and top ribbons per usual.
•Pep Talk and Rebecca brought home top ribbons in the weekday 3 Foot Division. Then, Linden Nguyen took the reins week 2 for this pairs show debut. Linden earned 🥈in a combined 14&under Eq Flat division and proceeded to bring home top ribbons over fences all weekend. Talk about a great first time out for these two!
•Pam Mattel & Cento Forever just kept getting better. The pair put in very consistent trips to earn ribbons in Week 1 & 2.
•Rebecca & OS Quincy jumped very consistently, bringing home 7th in the Week 2 Welcome and top 10 finishes in the Week 1&2 Open Jumper Classic.

Job well done, RDEC! Thank you Equus Events for a fabulous show!

💥NEWS ALERT💥
Starting October 3, 2026, RDEC will be opening its doors once a month to offer Schooling Saturday, the Lowcountry’s newest opportunity to school a full course without the pressure and expense that comes with a horse show. Whether you have a green horse, an event you want to prepare for, or you are a rider that wants to practice in a ring that isn’t your own, Schooling Saturday is for you!

How it works:
Our covered ring will operate as a schooling ring where you will have the opportunity to warm up on the flat and over a jump before walking down to our outdoor ring where you will have two course options to choose from: Course A (Hunter Course) and Course B (Jumper/Eq Course). You will be allowed 4 trips per horse, regardless of height, and you can switch between courses each trip. We will offer a one-hour session per height, with heights ranging from crossrails – 1.20m. After you have finished, you will have the option to use our onsite amenities prior to your departure. Ship-ins are welcome, but if you would like to stall your horse overnight, arrangements can be made to have a stall available in our lower barn - please note that stalls are limited and must be reserved one week in advance.

A schedule for our first Schooling Saturday will be released soon, so be on the lookout! In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to Rebecca at 312-806-6122 for questions, an info sheet and to reserve your spot!

We can’t wait to see you on Saturday!🐴
