This past weekend, our team renewed our PetTech Pet CPR & First Aid certification with instructor Jennifer Perry who traveled from Atlanta to spend the day with us again!
We refreshed our knowledge in pet CPR, rescue breathing, choking, seizures, wound care and other emergency skills.
This renewal training meant a bit more to us this time around. We recently had to put those skills into action when one of our clients went into cardiac arrest at the salon. Thanks to our CPR training we were able to successfully revive her.
A special shoutout to our stylist Alison, who recognized the dog was in distress, immediately took charge and calmly communicated with and guided her coworkers through the emergency. We are so proud of her and how everyone worked together to save Tidal’s life that day. 👏
The unexpected can happen at any time, and when it does, every second matters. We hope our clients find comfort in knowing that our entire staff is formally trained and prepared at each step of the grooming process.
