Join Dr. Bruce Vanenkevort, (DVM, DACVS) in the operating room at Mountain West Veterinary Specialists for a closer look at a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy).

TPLO is a specialized orthopedic procedure used to stabilize the knee in dogs with a cranial cruciate ligament tear. By carefully changing the angle of the tibial plateau, this surgery helps restore knee stability and support a dog’s journey back to comfortable movement.

Every procedure is an opportunity to make a difference in a patient’s life. We’re proud to provide the specialized surgical care our patients need to get back to more walks, more playtime, and more moments with the people who love them. 🐶💙

Blood transfusions can save the lives of animals, but we need donors! Exotic blood cannot be stored, so we rely on volunteers who are willing to be contacted in case of an emergency.

Donors are carefully selected based on species, weight, and overall health status. If your animal is selected to donate, they’ll receive a no-charge exam and bloodwork as part of the donation process.
