Get a husky they said, it’ll be fun they said. I swear she is more cat than dog.

🐾 Life Lessons with Ady: Big Feelings, Little Paws 🐾

You don’t have to be fearless to be brave.

Today I passed people without barking, resisted telling a squirrel exactly what I thought of him 🐿️, went potty outside, AND even enjoyed some lap cuddles!

But our time together went longer than I expected, and my nerves got the best of me. I had a little anxiety accident. 🫣

Does that erase all my wins? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Sometimes progress means having a great day with one tough moment. And that’s okay!

Celebrate the little victories, give yourself grace, and remember that progress isn’t always perfect.

Love,
Ady🐾

P.S. That squirrel is still on my watch list. 👀

This sweet boy joined me for a Day Venture filled with sunshine, rolling in the cool grass, and making friends!

🚗 He is a big fan of car rides with the windows down!
🥰 He Lights up when he meets and interacts with kids!
🦮🐕‍🦺 He Enjoys having a dog friend along for his adventures

At approximately 3 years old, Sheriff is smart, goofy, dog-friendly, and the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle bug! He’s house and crate trained and would thrive with an active family ready to give him lots of love and enrichment.

Trust is built one step (and one walk 🐾) at a time. 🤎

With Ady, we started with walks alongside her mom. Mom held the leash while Ady simply got used to me being there.

Then we moved to Lowe’s. First, we walked together with Mom while I took the leash for short periods. Next, Mom met us there but stayed behind while Ady and I went inside together.

Now we’ve hit another HUGE milestone, walks straight from home, just Ady and me! 🥹 She definitely noticed the change in routine, but she did amazing!

This is Relationship Based Care, Moving at your pet’s pace, working closely with their pawrents, and building real trust so they feel safe and comfortable in my care. 🐾🤎
