She takes backyard security VERY seriously… right up until the giant zoomies hit and all professionalism goes out the window. 😂❤️

Also a moment for those wrinkles 😍

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the gardens this morning! 🌿🐾

As the Adventure Pack Leader for ManyPaws Animal Rescue, it means so much to see our community show up to support rescue dogs and local events. Zoe and Dizzy absolutely loved meeting everyone and soaking up all the love!

Thank you for supporting both ManyPaws and Treks & Tails UT. Every walk, conversation, and new connection helps grow a community that values adventure, education, and giving rescue dogs the chance to shine.

We hope you had as much fun exploring the gardens as we did. See you on the next adventure! 💚

Relationship based care is so much more than walks, meals, and potty breaks.
It’s about building trust, not only with the pets in my care, but with the people who love them most.
This week, one of my clients became suddenly sick. Vomiting. Diarrhea. What started as “let’s monitor” quickly became “it’s time for the emergency vet.” Because we had already built that relationship, there was no hesitation. We communicated every step of the way, I was able to transport her to the emergency clinic, provide real-time updates, and help her family make informed decisions while they couldn’t be there.
She was scared, but she wasn’t alone.
This is exactly why my intake process includes emergency contacts, veterinarian information, and written authorization for emergency care. Emergencies don’t wait, and having a plan in place allows me to stay calm, think clearly, and advocate for your pet when every minute matters.
Thankfully, she now has a care plan we’re all comfortable with and is on the road to feeling better.
Here’s a photo timeline from our day. Can you tell when things shifted?
The answer probably isn’t what you think.
Pets aren’t always loud when something is wrong. More often than not, it’s in their silent communication; a softer expression, a change in posture, less engagement, subtle tension, or simply not acting quite like themselves. Learning to recognize those small changes is one of the most valuable skills a pet care professional can have.
A huge thank you to the emergency veterinary teamfor your compassion, organization, and exceptional care. You made a stressful situation so much easier, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything you did.
The greatest compliment I can receive isn’t just that your pet loves me, it’s that you trust me to care for them, especially when things don’t go according to plan. That trust is something I’ll never take for granted. 🤍🐾
