We’ve been waiting for this little guy for awhile! Dottie likes to hang on to them a little longer than most which proves to be worth it when they come out looking like this. 🥰

Not to mention, we think a future head horse with a blaze that already goes left, is a pretty good sign!

Anyone else think that is a pretty cool coincidence??

Let’s throw it back on this Thursday to SBF 2025.

We sold Cant Ride My Scooter, better known as “Cooper”, as a two year old, but for us the journey doesn’t end there. Following these horses and their journeys with their new owners is just as important as those in our barn.

Coop and Chase D Trahern had a hugely successful futurity year, capping it off with an Open Limited Futurity Reserve Championship and 3rd place Intermediate.

We could not be happier for Chase & Jaci Trahern and are so excited to watch them continue on this year in the Derbies.

Does anyone else miss seeing regular updates about Larryy Bird?

Well, this is a big week for Bird and his new owner. They will be making their debut at the Tres Osos Cow Horse Derby in Fort Worth and we could not be more excited to cheer for them!

The horses may get most of the attention on this page but the cattle are where the K3 brand started and where it continues its legacy in the Central Valley of California.

For us branding season is one of the most anticipated times of the year.

Roux (registered name pending) is a ‘25 filly by Scooter Kat (LTE $678k+, PE $1M+) out of Toys Jerry Maxi (LTE $15k+) who is by Smart Little Jerry (LTE $197k+).

We are so excited to have a strong roster of fillies around here again and can’t wait to share their stories with you!

I know there are a few of you out there waiting patiently for us to “unveil” the two pretty fillies that joined us last month 😉

We are still waiting on their papers so we’ll have to share those names later.

First is 𝐵𝑒𝒾𝑔𝓃𝑒𝓉. Yes, as in the French breakfast pastry. If you know Jake, you understand where that one came from!

She is a ‘25 filly by 𝑴𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒔 𝑴𝑽𝑷 (LTE $345k, PE $815k) and out of 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆 (LTE $25k) who is a full sibling to Lil Rattler and Cinca De Maya; the dams of Third Edge, Metallic Curveball and Cinca Im Hot 🔥

To say we are excited about this filly is an understatement, stay tuned for updated photos in our “spring clothes” later this year!
