Red Gate Farm offers riding lessons, summer camps, competitive Equitation teams, Eventing teams, pony club, VHSA Associate Hunter and jumper horse shows, combined tests and starter horse trials, birthday parties, and Girl Scout badges. We’re just minutes from Purcellville and Middleburg and offer:
High-end stall and field board. Private, semi-private and group riding lessons (child and adult),

horse shows, Camp programs (ages 3 and up), clinics and special events, and schooling opportunities in our rings and cross country course. Our facilities: Amish barn with 14 stalls, 2 wash stalls, grooming stall and 2 climate-controlled tackrooms, attached 80x180 indoor ring with Nike air footing. 240x135 and 100x80 outdoor riding rings with jumps, lights/sprinklers/speakers and viewing galleries. Cross-country courses for intro through Novice ( 3’), 80 acres of pasture with automatic waterers and run-in sheds. 2 additional 2 stall barns for lay ups/QT. Hunter shows, 10 schooling jumper shows, and 5 starter horse trials per year that are open to the public. We pride ourselves on operating a friendly and professional facility. 7) limit and balance Screen Time

Horse Camp accomplishes all of these!! It is essentially the same camp for over 20 years. No screen time, outdoors, establishing relationships with horses and people, learning chores, and having both structured and some unstructured time for play. Come join us!

Red Gate Farm is pleased to host our upcoming HUNTER show on Sunday, June 28. The event will begin at 8 AM in the Main arena with Kim Gilbertson judging Low Hunter, while Christopher Webb will oversee the small arena, starting at 9 AM with leadline. On-site amenities will include a Food Truck and professional photography services. Our shows are renowned for their high-quality local competition, attentive staff, excellent footing, and prizes provided by our valued sponsors. Notably, champions in the large arena will have the opportunity to select from a range of beverage containers, including Yeti and Stanley products, as well as other summer gifts such as candles and equestrian accessories. What a LONG jumper day we had!! Thanks for coming out and showing with us! Our next three jumper shows will be held on Wednesday evenings and they are great Summer fun!

Tomorrow's jumper show kicks off at 8 AM, promising an exciting day ahead! Based on Saturday 5 PM entry numbers, here's an optimistic outline of our schedule:
Ground rails 8 AM - 8:15 AM (9 rounds), setting the stage for a strong start.
Next up, Cross rails: 8:25-9:40 AM (34 rounds), where precision and skill take center stage.
The momentum builds with 18 inch: 9:50-11:20 AM (43 rounds),
followed by 2’: 11:30 AM-12:50 PM (42 rounds), where riders showcase their expertise.
After lunch, 2’3”: 1-2:20 PM (42 rounds) pushes the limits, while 2’6”: 2:30-3:30 PM (36 rounds) demands peak performance. Finally, 3’: 3:40 PM (3 rounds) wraps up the day with high aspirations.
We will have an upscale Food Truck, as well as a professional photographer to capture all the best moments!
