My SJ Murphy x SJ Acorn Litter arrived August 13, 2026 - 5 Boys! Yes, little Acorn was hiding all these guys! One is quite tiny so I am helping him along. And yes, I have plenty of comfy bedding but Acorn likes to fling it around so for her pups safety right now I have removed it.

NOTE: These puppies are spoken for at this time. At 8 weeks they will be evaluated and any availability will be posted then.

If you love these little white dogs, support their club - the JRTCA! Membership is dwindling and without that, there is no club and ultimately there is no Jack Russell Terrier!

Copied from the head of our State Reps committee, Janet Briggs...

Okay, y’all. I cannot anymore!
Club membership is more than paying dues. Its not just “Oh,I have no trials near me, so I’m going to boycott the club. No dues for you!” It’s putting our support behind something we believe deserves $60, or whatever it is now. It isn’t about what you get for the money. It’s what your membership does. Preserve!! Preserve the Jack Russell Terrier as the unique, intelligent, fearless working terrier we all fell in love with in the first place. Remember your first one?
If you give $60 a year to an animal rescue, you probably don’t ask what you’re going to “get” out of it. You give because you believe the animals are worth saving and because you want that organization to be there tomorrow. When I go through McDonald’s drive through for a crispy Diet Coke, they ask me if I want to round up for the Ronald McDonald House to help families of hospitalized children. I always do. Imagine if I asked, “Well, what exactly do I get?”
The same principle applies to belonging to the JRTCA. You’re helping support the people, the programs, the records, the education, the trials, the research, the working traditions, and the standards that protect the breed for the future.
If you truly love these dogs for everything that makes them Jack Russells, would you be okay with a future in which the real working Jack Russell slowly disappeared? Probably not. I’m in no way an expert, but wasn’t there a time when there was a black and tan terrier? What happened to it?
Preserving a breed doesn’t just happen magically. It takes people who care enough to support the organizations doing that work, even during the years when they don’t attend a trial or personally need anything from the club.
Your dues says these dogs matter to me. Their history matters. Their future matters. And I want to be part of making sure the Jack Russell Terrier we love is still here for someone else to fall in love with 50 years from now.
P.S. if you’re reading this, you are most likely a member, so this is preaching to the choir. I challenge everyone who sees this to share it. Look over at your JRT right now and you’ll understand why you need to.

What makes JRTCA breeders different?

Health testing isn’t optional—it’s expected that we hold each other accountable with standards, not rules.

And it’s not about checking boxes…
It’s about making informed, responsible decisions.

That’s what preserves the real Jack Russell Terrier.

What makes JRTCA breeders different?

We don’t just breed dogs—we preserve a working breed.
Every breeding is done with purpose, not just availability.
That means fewer litters… and higher standards.

That’s what preserves the real Jack Russell Terrier.
That's what makes 50 years of the JRTCA.

Did you know that this year we are...
CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF THE JRTCA – 1976 - 2026!

This milestone reflects the vision, values, and commitment to preserving something great – the TRUE Jack Russell.
