PLEASE people, we are begging you. Spay and neuter your animals!! We picked up this sweet older girl as a stray and noticed she was having some issues urinating. We got her to the vet for ultrasound, xrays, and rads and to get checked out. We were informed she had pyometra and needed an emergency spay. Her uterus was so large the vet said they had a hard time telling the difference between her bladder and her uterus. After proceeding with the spay they observed a large mass in her bladder. One that couldn't be removed and would only get bigger. A hard decision had to be made and with the vets recommendation, we had to put Penny down. It was the most humane thing we could do for her. Penny had an owner at one some point in her life. ALL THIS COULD'VE BEEN AVOIDED BY PROVIDING VET CARE CARE FOR HER AND SPAYING HER!! We are so incredibly tired of seeing animals as yard ornaments that people just throw food and water out to and forget about or dump on the side of the road when they become an inconvenience or might cost more than a bag of dog food. Do better people.....please. If yoy don't have the time and money and love to commit to a pet, DON'T GET ONE!! Rant over.
