Letās talk about labels. š·ļø
In the dog world, youāll hear "English" vs. "American" constantly. While English and American are the terms the general public uses to describe style, as a breeder, I view it through a different lens. We breed what is commonly called Englishāor more accurately, the Bench-Bred Labrador. But if you ask me what I really am? Iām a Preservation Breeder. We aren't chasing fads or big profits, rather, we are dedicated to the health, temperament, and original purpose of the Labrador Retriever. Living by the 4 Pās:
ā«ļøPreserve the breedās history.
ā«ļøProtect the breedās health.
ā«ļøPredict stable temperaments.
ā«ļøPurpose: Ensuring every dog can do exactly what it was bred to do.
We aim for a dog that is conformationally correct with a sound temperament. Breeding for the family who wants a predictable, easy-to-train companion and the enthusiast who respects the breedās history. For us, "correct" means a beautiful balanceānot overdone, not underdone. It means every sire and dam is fully health-tested and proven. When we say our dogs are titled with champion pedigrees, weāre not talking about a couple titled dogs in our pedigrees. We are talking about the dogs in our program, and the many proven & predictable generations behind them.
