Wet Noses Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit headquartered in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Founded in 2020 by Abe and Tracey Abrams, we are a foster based rescue that pulls animals from high kill-shelters in the Atlanta area and find them loving homes. While we have a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes, we focus on senior, special needs, small dogs, and puppies. We rely on a volunteer network to help w

ith our lifesaving work. Volunteers provide transportation (aka Freedom Rides) from county animal shelters to the rescue. Once an animal arrives, they receive full medical care, a lot of love, and behavioral support as they adjust to their foster home.

Lainy’s journey wasn’t an easy one. It took her a long time to find her forever family, and along the way she had to overcome so much trauma. But through it all, she remained one of the sweetest, most beautiful souls you could ever meet. 💕

Watching scared dogs learn to trust again is one of the greatest gifts in rescue — and now Lainy gets the happy ending she has always deserved. 🏡❤️

Here’s to new beginnings, endless love, soft beds, and a lifetime of happiness sweet girl. On to your next chapter!!!! 🎉🐶✨

Today, we remember and honor the brave men, women, and heroic K9s who served our country with courage, loyalty, and sacrifice. 🇺🇸🐾

Freedom is never free, and we are forever grateful to those who gave everything to protect it. We also pay tribute to the military working dogs who stood fearlessly beside their handlers — loyal companions, protectors, and heroes in their own right.

From all of us at Wet Noses Animal Rescue, thank you to every service member, veteran, and military K9 for your sacrifice and dedication.

These adorable little babies are part of the recent hoarding case rescue and are finally safe, loved, and getting the care they deserve. Mama Rosa has been doing an amazing job caring for her pups, and now it’s our turn to help them find the happy endings they deserve 🩷

🐾 1 boy — Preston
King Charles Cavalier, Poodle, Terrier Mixes♥️

They are approximately 7–8 weeks old and are growing into playful, sweet, snuggly little puppies. We are still learning their personalities, but so far they are absolutely full of love, sass, and puppy kisses 😍

These babies have been through a lot already in their short lives, and we are so grateful they are now safe in rescue and getting the veterinary care and attention they need.

🆘🚨💔 UPDATE ON OUR HOARDING CASE RESCUE DOGS 💔🚨🆘

First, THANK YOU. ❤️
Because of your donations, sharing, and support, we have raised almost $4,000 so far — and we are incredibly grateful for every single person helping us fight for these dogs.

So far, we have taken in over 31 dogs from this heartbreaking hoarding case… but the medical needs continue to grow.

Today, we received devastating news:
🐾 3 of the dogs need surgery for bi-lateral luxating patellas
🐾 The cost is approximately $1,800 PER KNEE
🐾 These dogs need surgery on a total of 5 knees

That is an enormous expense on top of the already overwhelming veterinary bills we are carrying. We need $15,000 to bring our veterinary bills back down to 0 or we cannot help any of the other dogs still waiting for rescue💔

💔 We are still deep in the red.
💔 We still have MORE dogs waiting to be pulled to safety.
💔 And we truly cannot continue rescuing without help.

This adorable little girl is a Border Collie mix and one of the lucky pups from an owner surrender situation. She’s now safe, loved, and getting ready to find the forever home she deserves 🏡

Cruz and her siblings will be 8 weeks old next Thursday and ready to begin their next chapter! Only a few puppies remain, so if you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to add a furry best friend to your family—this is it 💕

We believe Cruz will grow to be around a medium size. Her mom, Harley, is about 25–30 lbs (you can see her in the comments!), but since dad is unknown, her exact size is just a guess.
