With the current air advisory, please remember this can affect your pets too! This advisory currently goes through to mid day July 17th. Please monitor the amount of time your pets may be spending outside. On top of the air quality, this heat can be a lot for them. Especially our BRACHIOCEPHALIC breeds such as Pugs, English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Boston Terriers, and Pekingese. Lets not forget the cats too including British Shorthair, Persian, and Scottish Fold

Welcoming our newest pet friend, Maverick! Maverick is an 11 week old German Shepherd, who loved his first experience here at the vet. Where he got lots of love and cookies, and planning on seeing him soon for puppy socialization with our doggy daycare/boarding. Welcome Friend 🥰

I am sharing this to inform others that Doc Jean and her staff have provided nothing but the best veterinary service to our family for the past 15 years or so.
This is hands down a caring establishment both for their fur patients who are ill, emergency or day/overnite care visitors. Some people who have sand in their ..... may think otherwise but ya know what? Each experience in life is our own and everyone had differences of opinions...be that as it may Starlight provides quality care at an affordable price. I am thankful we found Jean Elmer

DO INDOOR CATS NEED TO BE DEWORMED?
YES, indoor cats need routine deworming. Even strictly indoor cats face risks for parasites from fleas, ingesting microscopic eggs tracked in on shoes, or exposure to other pets. We recommend deworming or screening them once to twice a year! If you would like to schedule a visit please call us at 608-437-8387

Our doggy daycare/boarding has a greater than 1 acre field for the pups to run and play, plus two separate 18 by 25 foot areas ; if weather is inclement, we have a 40 by 50-foot indoor arena with sand so they can run, play and dig to their hearts content. If you would like to schedule a visit please call 608-437-8387 Thank you
