❤️🐾 Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾❤️

If you’ve ever walked through our hospital doors, chances are you’ve seen our amazing Vet Techs in action—though much of the magic they perform happens behind the scenes. They are the calm in the storm, the warm blanket after surgery, and the gentle touch that lets a frightened animal know they are safe.

Veterinary technology is a demanding, fast-paced, and often emotional profession. They love your pets as if they were their own, celebrating every successful recovery and holding your hands through the harder days. Vet techs perform some of the most demanding work in healthcare—balancing physical labor, technical expertise, and intense emotional labor without missing a beat. They show up every single day with open hearts, unwavering stamina, and an endless capacity for empathy. To say we appreciate them is an understatement.

Our Veterinary Technicians deserve the absolute utmost respect—not just this week, but every single day of the year. Their expertise, skill, and deep empathy make exceptional patient care possible. We truly could not do what we do without them! 💟

✨To our extraordinary vet tech team: Thank you. Thank you for your tireless dedication, your passion for animal health, and the boundless love you show to every pet that walks through our doors. We are profoundly grateful for everything you do! 🩺🐾💙

🪄 Who says we can't add a little color to the rotation?! 💜 🩺

We decided our wardrobe needed a little upgrade! Don't worry, our trusty black scrubs aren't going anywhere—they’re still our everyday go-to (and undefeated champions at hiding mystery pet smudges)! But every now and then, we’re spicing it up with a pop of lavender 🟣.

Same team, same loving care. 🐾 We’re pretty sure the pets prefer the purple 😜, but let us know what you think! ✨

⚠️ Notice of Upcoming Closure! 🐾

We will be out of the office next Saturday, October 24th, and will return on Tuesday, November 3rd.

Who says vet visits can't feel like a spa day?! 😜 🛀 🐾

Solar ☀ has unlocked the secret to a successful stress free check-up: complete and total couch relaxation mode.

Why stand when you can kick back, stretch out on the couch, and lean directly into your human for maximum moral support and snuggles? Let the vet team bring the checkup to you! 🩺 😌

Some bond-filled years are extra special, and this photo says it all 💓

This is Cody 💙 the sweetest senior gentleman and Dr. Schlasinger’s most elderly (canine) patient! Seeing these two together is a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do every single day.

There is something so deeply moving about caring for pets throughout all stages of their lives—from their energetic puppy pounces to the gentle, silver-muzzled golden years. Dr. S has had the joy of caring for Cody since he was a puppy! Despite his age, Cody is a happy guy and gets a monthly Librela injection to keep him going. It is a true privilege to continue keeping him happy, comfortable, and cherished!

Here’s to sweet Cody and all of the incredible senior pets who hold such a big place in our hearts! 💞 🐾

Look at that joyful bounce! 🐩 💜

🐾 Meet Olive, the happiest girl in the clinic today! She visited for her annual vaccines and was practically floating with excitement! Along with her routine checkup, Olive officially started her Lyme vaccine series today. She’ll be back for one quick booster in a few weeks, and after that, she’s all set with a simple annual update to stay protected year-round 💉.

And can we talk about fashion for a second? Her purple harness and matching flower accessory on her collar were a hit with our team! 🌸 Thank you for being such a star patient, Olive! We can't wait to see your sweet, happy face again soon for your booster! 🖤

If you’ve noticed ticks acting like they own the place lately, you’re not imagining it—Lyme disease is a growing risk, and tick season feels less like a season and more like a year-round reality nowadays.🌾🕷️

Vaccinating against Lyme isn't just about avoiding a pesky tick bite; it’s about protecting your pup’s joints, kidneys, and overall playfulness before those little hitchhikers even try it. Pairing the Lyme vaccine with a monthly tick preventative gives your dog complete, full-coverage protection all year long! 🛡

Got questions about Lyme protection for your furry friend? Give us a call or ask us at your next visit!

Give it up for Quito, the true definition of a good boy! 🥰 🐾

While most of us struggle to wait patiently in line- Quito is out here setting the gold standard. If there were an award for "Most Polite Patient," this handsome guy would be taking home the gold🏆. Look at him sitting so proper on the bench, quietly waiting for his turn to see the vet! ✨

We love seeing our furry patients feel calm, confident, and ready for their checkups. Is your pet due for their annual preventative care?
