Eyes, windows to the soul…
If anyone has ever watched me during a session they know that I pay close attention to the horse’s eyes Why? Because the horse communicates a great deal through their eyes.

Sometimes it’s very subtle & sometimes it’s not. Usually, every one can spot the ‘wild’ eye, usually large with some white showing… but can you “feel” the more subtle messages the horse is communicating to you? Curiosity, trust, anxiety relaxation, understanding, confusion, frustration, compassion, pain…..

I encourage every horse owner to slow down, watch their horse’s eyes, learn to read the subtle messages that your horse is trying to communicate.

Remember horses don’t always shout, sometimes they whisper, be still & listen. 🤫🐴

““The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.”

Anxious & busy minds make tense bodies in horses, as well as, humans.

I heard something on a podcast today that really resonated with me….
“Let your whisper be the loudest thing in the room.”

Be more intentional & aware of what energy you are bringing into the barn. Remember energy is the horse’s first language. ✨🐴🙌
