🐾 40 COMMUNITY CATS FIXED! 🐾

Friday was another amazing BISSELL Fix the Future day! ❤️🐱

We were able to fix 40 community cats through our partnership with BISSELL Fix the Future! Along with being spayed/neutered, these cats received age-appropriate vaccines and microchips. Each community cat also received an ear tip before being safely returned to their outdoor home.

We’re also thankful to partner with Petworks, helping fix 23 community cats in Kingsport City! 🐾

We are so grateful for partners like BISSELL who help make it possible for us to fix more animals and keep spay/neuter affordable for our community. It truly takes a village!

And a HUGE thank you to our amazing medical team and veterinarian for their dedication to spaying and neutering and for working so hard to help more animals in our community. We couldn’t do it without you! ❤️🐾

RESCUE FOUND! Thank you! If you put in an application we will contact you to see if you’re interested in another baby or when we have more mama and babies! Our community is wonderful ❤️

We took in a mama babies that are 1.5 weeks old! Mama is about 15 to 20lbs. We are looking for a foster to get them out of the shelter. If you have an extra room to help these babies we could really use your help!

Animal Care & Control Officer – Sullivan County🐾

Do you care deeply about animal welfare and want to serve your local community? The Animal Shelter of Sullivan County is looking for a dependable, compassionate Animal Care & Control Officer to join our team!

What You’ll Do:
• Respond to calls involving stray, injured, or dangerous animals
• Assist local law enforcement with animal control laws and ordinances
• Investigate reports of animal cruelty or neglect
• Safely capture and transport animals
• Educate the public on responsible pet ownership and resources
• Case building and report writing

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations
• Physical ability to handle animals of all sizes
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience working with animals, public service, or law enforcement is a plus
• **Must live within a 30-minute commute of the shelter to be considered**

This job is not for the faint of heart. It is very rewarding, yet mentally and physically taxing.
