🐾 KENNEL TECHNICIAN
Part-Time Position

Do you have a passion for animals and take pride in hard work? Join our team and help provide excellent care for the animals in our shelter!

This position works mainly with dogs, but will be cross-trained with cats.

Responsibilities include:
🐶 Daily care, cleaning, feeding & enrichment for shelter animals
🐾 Maintaining a clean, safe environment for dogs and cats
❤️ Assisting with animal handling and daily shelter operations
🧼 Completing cleaning tasks — because no job is too small!
🤝 Working together with staff & volunteers to save lives

We are looking for someone who:
✔️ Is reliable and dependable
✔️ Works well as part of a team
✔️ Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
✔️ Is comfortable working with animals of all sizes and personalities
✔️ Can work weekends and holidays as needed

Must be able to:
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift during shifts
• Work in all weather conditions
• Safely handle animals
• Complete repetitive cleaning and sanitation tasks

🐾 Our kitten crew needs your help! 🐾

Kitten season is in full swing, and our shelves are getting emptied faster than we can refill them! 🐱💕 Between the kittens at the shelter, our amazing foster homes, and the mama cats caring for their babies, we are constantly going through food.

We are currently in need of:
🐾 Purina Kitten Chow
🐾 Fancy Feast Kitten canned food
🐾 Canned wet food for mama cats and adult kitties

Every bag and every can helps us continue saying yes to the little ones who need us. ❤️ Our foster families rely on these supplies to help raise healthy kittens until they are ready for their forever homes.

We would love to have some curtains for cat kennels for decompressing or division between litters....it is kitten season 😺

We could also use trap covers for our spay/neuter clinic.

Update on Riley!!

This sweet girl is doing great after her surgery! She hasn’t had a good go at life! She is now a tri-pod which many dogs live a full life that way! On top of that she is Heartworm positive 😭 but don’t you worry with your support we will see her through that as well! Big thank you to Indian Ridge Animal Hospital for being in her corner and a medical tech for stepping up and fostering her! We couldn’t do this without our community 💪
