I am thrilled to introduce Francine LaMarr and Nosework classes at TurnDogs!🩵💜

Nosework leverages your dog’s natural instinct to search and hunt. All dogs can successfully participate in this popular sport, which builds confidence and burns an amazing amount of energy in just an hour. We’ll teach you to recognize your dog’s working style by watching him do what comes naturally as he learns to search containers, buried hides in containers, handler's discrimination, exteriors, interiors, and the occasional vehicle for odor!
Class is open to recreational teams as well as experienced sniffers looking to enter an ORT test/Pre-Trial Test, or any level of an NACSW/UKC/AKC/PSD trial.

⭐️Upcoming Classes:⭐️
Wednesdays - 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11 with Francine LaMarr

Beginner/Novice/NW1: 5:30 pm
Whether you’re new to Nosework, pairing your hides or getting ready for your Novice or
NW1 trial, this class is for you! We’ll assess the needs of each team and adjust
searches as necessary. All teams will learn how to better read and understand their
dog’s working style. We’ll make sure all dogs are searching, understand the importance
of odor, and finally, offering a consistent alert.

Intermediate/Advanced/NW2: 6:30 pm
This class is for teams looking to grow beyond the basics and successfully introduce
more challenging scent puzzles including inaccessible and elevated hides. You’ll learn
how to leverage your dog’s working style to meet the requirements of any trial. Whether
you’re looking to compete at an advanced level or just give your dog a more challenging
experience, we’ve got you covered.

Excellent/NW3/Elite: 7:30 pm
Created for the experience nosework/scentwork team, this class will introduce and
tackle deep inaccessible hides, elevated and suspended hides, cluster hides and more!
We’ll make stepping up to the next level fun for both competitive and recreational teams.

Do you have some equipment at home and a space to train but need help forming a training plan? I offer in home lessons! ⭐️

So often students mention having some equipment at home but not knowing what to do with it. So many skills can be taught and proofed in a limited space! We will work with what you have!

In home lessons include set up in your space and a customized skills training plan for your space and your equipment! You will get homework to make the most of your space! On occasion certain equipment can also be borrowed to enhance your set up!
