Last but not least, happy veterinary technician week to one of our wonderful RVTs, Jasmine! Jasmine is intelligent, efficient, and so knowledgeable. She is such an advocate for animals and their well-being. Everyone loves working with her as she’s such a calm and positive light in a busy/chaotic environment. We could not be more thankful she is on our team! 💓

Happy Vet Tech week to one of our amazing vet techs, Lauren! Lauren is one of the hardest workers you will ever meet and loves each and every animal as if they were her own. She practices medicine with such compassion and heart. She’s bold, kind, and hilarious. She is constantly learning new skills and improving the ones she already has. We are beyond thrilled she decided to join our Pitties team. She is always one to volunteer to take care of hospitalized patients after hours and even came in today for a surgery on her day off because she cares about our patients so much. We can’t say enough good things about Lauren. ❤️ We are so lucky to have her!

Shout out to one of our wonderful technicians, Lindsey! She is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She loves and advocates for each and every patient who walks through our doors. She is incredibly skilled, compassionate, and kind. She has been here since before opening day, and we could not be more lucky to have her. I hope people realize how lucky they are to have such a sweet soul caring for their beloved pets in their time of need. Thank you so much Lindsey, we don’t know what we would do without you! 💓

I decided to do a series of our most common emergencies that we see at Pitties and Pals. Hopefully this can be informative for pet owners- the goal is for people to know what signs to look for to know if their pet is having a true emergency. This one is mainly for the kitty owners, but we have seen many dogs with a very similar emergency🫶🏼🐱 If you would like more information on feline urethral obstruction or feline idiopathic cystitis, I recommend https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4951488&f5=1

We unfortunately have to close today due to a partial power outage that is affecting our equipment and WiFi. If we have seen your pet and you have questions, please email [email protected] (Here is Noodles after she ripped her poor paw pads last week- she is doing great now!)

Hello everyone! This is Bee… she is currently in a home with children who make her very anxious, and it has elevated to a bite incident. In the clinic, she was weary of us at first, but so quickly got used to us and loved getting pets and showing us her tricks. She was the sweetest girl. She is great with other animals, but just ideally would be in a home with no young children and no plan to have young children. If anyone is interested in a new, beautiful, 1 year-old Great Dane (spayed, vaccinated), please reach out!

The Pitties team had so much fun and learned a ton at our first emergency veterinary conference! There is truly nothing better than having knowledgeable, experienced, and licensed staff members. They are the BEST! We are so excited to bring back our new knowledge for all of our future patients. We have a veterinary student from NC State joining us for the next couple of weeks who will see patients with Dr. Graber; please welcome very-soon-to-be Dr. Stine! 🥰 We will return normal hours tomorrow 9/18 at noon.
