We are a growing urgent care veterinary hospital committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care for pets in need of same-day medical attention. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.

We are currently seeking a dependable, skilled, and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and values teamwork, efficiency, and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with patient diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiographs, laboratory testing, and anesthesia monitoring
Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
Monitor hospitalized and recovering patients
Obtain accurate patient histories and maintain detailed medical records
Educate clients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency throughout the hospital
Support fellow team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications

Current RVT license/certification in good standing is required.
Previous veterinary technician experience required; urgent care or emergency experience preferred. Fear free certification preferred.
Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy clinical setting
Professional, compassionate, and dependable demeanor
Commitment to teamwork and high-quality patient care

Our hospital experiences a high patient volume, and this role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change quickly. We are seeking a candidate who remains calm under pressure, maintains a positive attitude, and contributes to a supportive team culture even during busy shifts.

Did you know: At Pitties and Pals, we never take your animal to the treatment area without offering for you to come with?? You can stay with your pet throughout 100% of the exam, treatment process, and surgical procedure if you’d like! We know this isn’t for everyone, but many pets are comforted by being able to stay with their owner for their entire visit💓 It is also totally fine to wait in the exam room if you would rather not see your pet’s treatments! We are absolutely blown away still by the community’s trust in us to take care of their sweet pets! 💓 We have seen and helped 78 patients so far in April, including 3 overnight stays and many emergency surgeries so far. We appreciate everyone’s patience with the parking lot and street construction that is happening. We are hoping to have no issues after these next 3-4 days of finishing up the parking lot work. So sorry AGAIN, hopefully the last time! But the parking lot is being worked on today and no parking will be permitted in the parking lot. We are OPEN from noon-8pm. If you need to drop your animal off at the front then find parking, please let us know! If you do this please leave room for other cars to pass by pulling as close to the front door as possible.
