I recently met the mother of this sweet girl, Logan. They live in Maine. I have been following Logan’s journey as she is battling brain cancer. I admire their strength, their courage and most of all, their faith. I would love for Logan’s mailbox to be overflowing with birthday wishes and love this year on her birthday. If you would like to send her a birthday card or gift, message me and I will give you a mailing address.

Good as new!

Another video showing how I cleaned up my friends sign before adding a new bow and greenery. A toothbrush, some dish-soap and water go a LONG way. If your sign is wood, and has been sealed, you can clean them!

I finally came up for air.

I've been hiding in the craft room building new product lines, redesigning our website, and trying to convince myself that SEO, hashtags, and alt text are actually a thing... and that I need to embrace them.

If you know, you know. 😅

In the meantime, I've managed to accomplish a few things...

✔️Website Re-design

✔️ Lots of new products

✔️ You can now shop us on Etsy, too!

✔️ Packing what feels like a semi for the Chatham Sweet Corn Festival

If you've been wanting to see our products in person, this is your chance!

We'll have over 100 handcrafted designs—door hangers, home décor, personalized pieces, seasonal favorites... and maybe even a few surprises.

📍 Chatham Sweet Corn Festival

🗓️ Friday: 4:00–8:00 PM

🗓️ Saturday: 10:00 AM–8:00 PM

Fair warning... It's going to be hotter than my UPS driver delivering craft supplies. 🥵📦

But don't let that stop you! We'll be the booth surrounded by handcrafted décor, laughing, sweating, handing out free sarcasm, and wondering whose bright idea it was to attend an outdoor craft festival in the middle of July. 😂

Now I need your opinion...

🎄Christmas in July...is this really a thing? Should I bring some of our best-selling Christmas designs to Chatham? Let me know in the comments! 👇

Whiskers & Wags has never been just about making signs. It's my way of turning creativity into something that helps animals in need. Every purchase allows me to give a little more back—to rescue animals here at home and in the Dominican Republic. Thank you for being part of that mission.

You know when I'm quiet... I'm usually working on BIG things behind the scenes!

🎉 BIG NEWS... WE'RE ON ETSY! 🎉

If you've been following along while I've been building this dream, thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

When the Painted Tree closed, I knew I had to pivot. Instead of giving up, I decided it was time to take Whiskers & Wags in a new direction.

Over the past several months, I've been designing, painting, laser engraving, photographing, writing descriptions, learning SEO, and figuring out everything that goes into successfully selling on Etsy. It has definitely been a learning experience!

Today, our Etsy shop is filled with handcrafted door hangers, home décor, funny signs, seasonal décor, inspirational pieces, and personalized gifts—all handmade with love.

Here's something I haven't really shared...

I actually quietly launched on Etsy about a month ago. I wanted to see how my products would perform with shoppers who had never heard of Whiskers & Wags before. It was important to me that those first sales, favorites, and reviews came organically—not just from family and friends cheering me on.

I'm excited to say that our first month exceeded my expectations!

🐾 5 sales
⭐ Several 5-star reviews
❤️ Lots of favorites
🎉 And the confidence that this little dream can continue to grow.

Now that I've tested the waters outside my amazing "fan club," I think it's time to officially share it with all of you!

If you've ever supported my small business, I have one favor to ask...

❤️ Please favorite our Etsy shop.
❤️ Follow our shop.
❤️ Share the link with your friends, family... and maybe even 100 of your closest friends who love quality handmade home décor and helping animals in need! 😄🐾

Every purchase helps support animal rescue, making every order even more meaningful.

Thank you for believing in this dream and for supporting Whiskers & Wags every step of the way. I truly couldn't do it without you.

🐾❤️ Laura
