All month long, our friends at Two Men And A Truck - Bloomington, IN are hosting their annual Movers for Mutts® campaign to collect supplies for MCHA!

Their next Stuff-A-Truck event is Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at TNT Pet and Food Supply (2375 S Walnut St, Bloomington).

Can't make it to the event? You can support the drive throughout October by dropping off donations at any of these locations:
- D's Doggie Do's & Cats Too
- Btown Meow Cat Cafe
- The Cat’s Closet
- BloomingPaws Clinic Resort Spa
- The Dog House, LLC
- Mannered Mutts Training

The top items needed are paper towels, laundry detergent, and dog & cat food!

Hello Everyone!

We are helping out Two men and a Truck this year with Movers for Mutts! Monroe County Humane Association will receive all donations at the end of the month to help out with their furry friends and we ask that anyone donates where they can!

Here's what we need:
-pet food (dog, cat, rabbit, and other furry friend food!)
-treats
-toys for dogs and cats (and the other furry friends!)
-cleaning supplies
-Towels (paper and cloth)
-and other essentials that might not be listed here!

Please donate where you can in order to help out our friends at the humane society!

Hi, it's Belle! I have some breaking news...

I have officially reached the stage of training where I have discovered that learning things is actually AWESOME. Who needs to spend their days making questionable decisions when you can learn a new behavior, get praised for it, and immediately decide you are the most brilliant creature to ever walk the earth?

My walking is coming along really nicely! I’m learning that a leash is in fact, not a direct invitation to drag my human toward whatever exciting thing I have spotted approximately 47 miles away. I’ve got a bunch of my basics down, I’m getting better at paying attention to my person, and I’m learning that sometimes we can simply WALK somewhere instead of arriving there like we’re being pursued by the authorities.

I’m also learning to boop my nose into your hand on cue. You say “touch,” and I stick my snoot directly into your palm. Is it useful? Absolutely. Is it adorable? Obviously. Is my nose now unionized? We’re still negotiating.

I’m generally good with other dogs who aren’t coming at me with strong corrections, and I’m learning more about appropriate dog-to-dog interactions everyday.

I’m also really good in my crate. I settle in nicely and am perfectly happy to chill out, which is probably the most shocking plot twist in my entire training journey considering how much enthusiasm I have packed into one dog.

I’m a big personality with a HUGE heart, and I’m looking for someone who will appreciate all of that enthusiasm while continuing to help me polish up my manners. I’ve got the goofy, the affection, and the personality. I’ve even got the crate skills. Somewhere out there is my person, and hopefully they hurry up. I have places to go, things to sniff, hands to boop, and an entire lifetime of being ridiculously loved to get started on!

We take long term shelter residents and help them get adopted by providing donated board and train, enrichment boarding, private lessons, and grooming services and sharing about them online to help them find their forever home. ❤️ Let us know if you would like to meet her, foster, or adopt.

Hi, I’m Belle!

I’m a 4-year-old Weimaraner/bully breed mix, and if I had to describe myself in three words, they’d be: “Ready! Let’s! GO!”

Walk? Let’s go.
Adventure? Let’s go.
Snuggles? Let’s go.
Snack? DEFINITELY let’s go.

I’ve got a big personality, an even bigger heart, and enough excitement to convince you that literally everything is worth celebrating. New people? Amazing. Old people? Also amazing. Someone looked in my general direction? Best day ever.

I came to Owen County Humane Society in 2024 after my owner couldn't reclaim me after surgery and while I’ve had a foster for a period, and a few meet-and-greets, I got passed over because I was a little too enthusiastic on leash. I know, I know... first impressions matter.

That’s why I’m spending some time at Mannered Mutts learning that I don’t have to sprint into every new adventure to enjoy it. We’re working on the basics like loose-leash walking, paying attention to my person, and proving that good manners and a big personality can absolutely coexist.

The good news? You can’t teach the kind of joy I have. I already come pre-programmed with that. I also make some truly spectacularly goofy faces, so if you say yes to me, your phone storage will never know peace again.

I’m just looking for someone who is looking for their new best friend to enjoy snuggles and playtime.
