Mange.
Yes, mange.
These poor, innocent little boys. Found dumped in the southern part of Indiana and taken to the Salem Humane Society. Who then got them to us.
These little brothers are the all too often result of backyard breeders abhorrent treatment of the animals they sell.
Their condition didn’t just happen over night. These babies were likely born and surviving in absolute filth. It makes me sad to think of how many others probably suffered their fate.
Backyard breeders and let-store breeders only care about one thing: profit. All that matters is animals being continuously created for cash flow coming in. They are never properly vetted, and typically kept in small, crowded and unsanitary enclosures (I’ve even seen them kept in storage totes) where they stress themselves to death, become extremely ill, develop conditions and injuries like this, or worse.
Please say no to backyard breeders. And . Or this kind of thing will never end. 💔
I’m thankful they are safe now with the help of Salem Humane. They are in pain, but I can fix that. Their skin WILL get better. It’s going to take time though. And money….always vet bills here….
❤️If you feel so inclined, and you’d like to be a Sponsor for these two, you will have direct and first to know knowledge of their condition. You’ll get daily updates and the honor of naming them. Sponsorship of a pair like this is $500 to cover initial vetting costs, their neuters and the adoption fee for their potential new homes eventually. ❤️
Please contact us if you are interested. We’re eager for a bit of help with these two. They are worth it and they deserve the world.
We are also always accepting donations via PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, and off of our Chewy and Amazon Wishlists.
