With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved owner and veterinarian, Dr. Nicholas Gatto.

For 32 years, Dr. Gatto poured his heart and soul into Best Friends Animal Hospital. What began as a veterinary practice became so much more — a place where countless families brought their beloved pets, knowing they would be treated with compassion, kindness, and genuine love.

For those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him, Dr. Gatto was so much more than our boss. He was our leader, our mentor, our friend, and the heart of our Best Friends family. He dedicated more than three decades of his life to caring for animals and the people who loved them. His impact on our team, our clients, and the countless pets he cared for will never be forgotten.

To our clients: thank you for allowing Dr. Gatto to be part of your families' lives. He treasured the relationships he built with you and your pets, and we know that many of you considered him not just your veterinarian, but a trusted friend.

Our entire Best Friends Animal Hospital family is grieving this tremendous loss. We know many of you are grieving alongside us, and we want you to know that we are holding you, your families, and all of the memories you shared with Dr. Gatto close to our hearts.

Thank you, Dr. Gatto, for 32 years of dedication, compassion, laughter, friendship, and an immeasurable love for animals. Your legacy lives on in every life you touched and in the Best Friends family you built. You will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved. ❤️🐾

With love, Your Best Friends Animal Hospital family

Our team is excited to announce that we are expanding our dentistry and oral surgery services! 🦷 We are now accepting new dental patients. We are able to perform dental x-rays to screen for disease beneath the gum line. Dental x-rays can only be performed with our patients under general anesthesia and can help us make evidence-based decisions regarding tooth health, comfort, and longevity during dental procedures. If you have any concerns about your pet's oral health, don't hesitate to reach out. We'd love to help you set up an appointment.
