Our full line of pet care services includes comprehensive veterinary surgery, dog and cat dental care, and professional pet behavioral medicine. We also offer compassionate treatment and care resources for new puppies and kittens as well as senior pets. With a close-knit staff of experienced veterinarians and technicians all united by a deep love of animals, we are truly a family practice dedicated to the lifelong wellness of pets in Bloomington and the surrounding area. As we approach the holiday season including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year's, we would like to share a quick reminder regarding Arlington Heights Veterinary Hospital's prescription refill policy.

To ensure your pet receives their medication in a timely manner without any disruption to their routine, please review our policy details below:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION on Prescription Refills:

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to refill any prescription medication, including preventative.

We are unable to accommodate any same day refill requests.

If you would like a refill of your pet’s medication, please call us at 812-822-3774. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave us a voicemail containing the following information:

Owner’s first and last name
Pet’s name
Medication to be filled
Pick-up location (North or South)

Amelia .W is September's Employee of the Month!

Amelia is a strong member of our team! She works hard the entire shift. Amelia is truly thoughtful, kind, & considerate. She puts the patient's welfare first in all of her thoughts & actions.

Amelia has become one of our senior employees & is now helping us train the newbies.

She is truly devoted to the animals & cares about their well being.
Amelia is compassionate, caring & detailed oriented.
These are all qualities that make her an exceptional veterinary assistant. She is always the last to leave & makes sure that everything from patient care to cleaning kennels & runs are completed.

Amelia always spends extra time with the pets to make sure they each get the care they deserve.

We are very lucky to have Amelia on our team! She spends a lot of time thinking about the patients & often suggests treatments which improve patient care & medical outcomes.
