Our ladies are headed home from 2026 Greene County fair!

THE MISS LOTTIE was 3rd/3 Alpine Int. Kid. She was just not as mature as the other does in her class.

THE P2P'S SWEET HOME ALABAMA was 1st/2 Alpine Milking Yearling. Beating out her sister by having a better mammary system. She went on to get a reserve of breed for Alpines.

THE P2P'S DIXIELAND DELIGHT was 2nd/2 Alpine Milking Yearling. Her sister just has a nicer mammary system but she’s an amazing showmanship doe.

BECK FARMS LITTLE MISS MAY was 2nd/2 Alpine 2-3yr Milker. Funny enough she was beat out by one of her family members, a niece also from Beck’s farms!

THE FLCF MAVIS' BEA was 1st/1 Recorded Grade 2-3yr Milker. She went on to get reserve of breed for Recorded Grades.

Showmanship will forever be known as “the collar incident”. Rylan would have been first according to the judge, but he experienced several collar slips. The slips never resulted in a lose animal (thanks Dixie!) but every slip was a deduction of 20 points.

Our lovely ladies didn’t do half bad considering I forgot we don’t milk at a normal schedule so a show fill for us is a different time than others.

We came away with 2 reserve ribbons.
