WE’RE HIRING!!
We are looking for the right person to fit with our team. Full time, veterinary assistant, would work 4 days a week plus some Saturday mornings.
We are a mixed animal veterinary practice with 3 veterinarians. We have a fast-paced office setting with a lot of client traffic and phone calls. At our busier times, this job can feel overwhelming or high stress. We see dogs and cats at the office daily, but our veterinary assistant must also be open to helping with other species, including (but not limited to) cattle, horses, goats, sheep and rabbits. The right candidate will be willing and able to clean up the messes that these animals can make, including vomit, urine, f***s, abscess material and blood. Job duties include, but are not limited to, holding animals for exam, surgery prep, assisting with euthanasia, cleaning, filing, answering client questions (in person and on the phone), filling prescriptions, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, stocking shelves, etc.
