Double the paws, double the fun with Luffy! 🐾💙
I had so much fun spending time with this handsome little Frenchie! He got to enjoy some walks with Rayne, meet Rocky 🐱, and even check out Nova's enclosure from a safe distance. 🦦
Safe, positive socialization is so important for our pets. When introduced properly and at each animal's comfort level, it can help build confidence, encourage appropriate behaviors, provide mental enrichment, and create positive experiences. Every pet is different, which is why I always prioritize slow introductions and closely monitor every interaction. 🩷
You'll also notice Luffy rocking a brand-new cooling vest! ☀️🩵 During this heat wave, I recommended one to his owner since French Bulldogs are a brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed and are at a much higher risk of overheating and heat stroke. They took my suggestion, and I think he wears it pretty well! 😍

🚨 Heat safety reminder: Flat-faced breeds like French Bulldogs, Bulldogs, Pugs, and Boston Terriers can overheat much faster than other dogs. Keep walks short during hot weather, avoid the midday heat, bring plenty of water, and always watch for signs of heat stress. Your pup will thank you! 💦🐶
