🐾 DOG WALKERS NEEDED. MUST BE ABLE TO HANDLE A 60 LB DOG.

We have dogs who need to get out of their pens and stretch their legs, burn off some energy, and just be dogs for a little while. That takes people. Right now we have more dogs than dedicated volunteers.

This one requires some physical capability. You need to be steady on your feet and able to comfortably walk a dog up to 60 pounds who will be excited, can be strong, and ready to go explore.

Not everybody can handle a big strong dog on a leash, and that is completely okay. We have another way for you to help that involves a lot less pulling and a lot more chicken nuggets.

Sign up for Doggy Day Out. You pick up a dog, hit the drive thru, grab them a plain chicken nugget or two, let them feel like a regular dog out in the world for a few hours that doesn't end in a trip to the vet.

That's it. That's the whole job. And for a dog who has been living in a temporary pen this week, it might be the best day they've had in a long time.

Nico was on the euthanasia list before being pulled by one of our rescue partners who knew he deserved a chance. They kept him safe until we could bring him in and get him fully vetted. It truly takes a village, and Nico is here because people believed he was worth saving. We’re so glad they did.

🧹 CAN YOU HOLD A HOSE? WE NEED YOU.

CPR just took in 10 Emergency Cases. We have 43 dogs and pens built for 24. That means a lot of extra cleaning, a lot of extra scooping, a lot of extra hands needed just to keep things sanitary and safe for these animals.

Our staff and core volunteers are stretched thin. We are asking anyone who can spare even an hour to come help us clean kennels, hose down pens, and keep this place running. Folding laundry, P**p Scooping. Washing bowls, filling water.

You don't need experience. You don't need to be an animal expert. You just need to show up, be willing to work and take direction.
