COOKIE HAS BEEN WAITING 6+ MONTHS FOR HIS SECOND CHANCE… CAN YOU BE HIS FOREVER?
Some dogs walk into your life and you just know they deserve the world. Cookie is one of those dogs.
This handsome 2.5 year old neutered Coonhound mix has spent over 6 months with us on and off, and his biggest wish is simple: a family to call his own again.
Cookie was adopted from us previously and loved his family dearly. Sadly, he found himself back in our care when his adopter was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for him. It wasn’t because Cookie did anything wrong sometimes life just takes unexpected turns. 💔
Now this 75-pound bundle of love is patiently waiting for someone to choose him again.

Cookie is dog selective, so he’ll need a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings to make sure it’s the perfect match. Like many hounds, he can be a little unsure at first, but once Cookie knows you’re his friend, he bonds deeply and gives the sweetest affection.
He’s the kind of dog who will look for you while you’re working, remind you when it’s time for a walk, and happily sit beside you while you enjoy the sunshine.
