It’s Meet the Doc Monday! So for the next several weeks we will be highlight each of our doctors individually. Today we are starting with Dr. Sarah Jacobsen. If you know her, you already know what an incredibly doctor she is. She graduated from Auburn University in Alabama then choose to come to Idaho to practice. Dr. Jacobsen loves to ride horses in her free time, and spending time with her 2 boys and husband Pete. Dr. Jacobsen has been with our clinic from nearly the very beginning, she started in 2002 and is skilled in both large and small animals! She’s also one of the most intelligent women we have ever known. Thank you Dr. Jacobsen for making our clinic that much better, so grateful for you! ☺️

Just a heads up, Rich Lane will be closed for a few days right by our clinic, the map shows the detours around the road construction. Travel safe!

Update! The road closure will be Thursday, Septmeber 24-25, 2026!

Please be advised that 301 Rich Lane will be closed on Monday for a road cut to access city sewer and water.

Closure details:
Estimated start date: September 21, 2026 (September 24-25, 2026)
Estimated duration: Approximately two days
Impact: Both lanes will be closed

Detour: Traffic will be detoured along Rich Lane between the intersection of Rich Lane and Fullmer Lane/N 100 W (also known as Merkley Lane) and University Avenue.

Memolotsamischief is okay. Out of safety Nakia pulled him up. He is being cooled out with Jason Moulton’s great staff at Animal Health Clinic and will return to his stall this evening.

We are closed today, but as a privately owned business we are able to take all of our own emergency calls! Call us at 208-785-5580 and the doctor on call can help you asses the situation.
