Zane only has one entry at this year’s Snaffle Bit Futurity. “Mystified”, owned by 7K Quarter Horses, has some limitations but she tries REALLY hard! A 217.5 down the fence today qualifies her for a Finals!

Ole’ Reymanator doesn’t love a lot of things, but he does love his mane/tail washing with UltraCruz Equine Shampoo and Conditioner!

Speakeasy Cat, one of Zane’s all time favorite horses, won a total of $16,000 this week for owner Lightning 7 Cattle Company. It was this stallion’s first time showing in a bridle, and he went up against the best bridle horses in the world. (Fence video in comments)

I just received news that my good friend and mentor Monty Roberts passed.

I can trace every good thing that ever happened to me in the equine world back to Monty and Pat Roberts.

He was incredibly intelligent and the best I ever saw at working with problem/remedial horses.

I had the opportunity to travel with him to six countries and over 40 states. A couple years ago, I posted a few stories about the crazy adventures he and I had together. It might be worth checking them out.

Monty “rode his spade bit pony through the golden light” on Friday. I hope we ride together again my friend.

(*My good friend Matt Mori and I pictured with Monty and Kelly Marks on my first UK tour)
