🌈 FOUND ON HWY C AT 17TH PLACE AND SUNRISE STORAGE: A 10 pound intact male gray and black tabby was found deceased and was brought to the shelter this morning. If this poor boy was yours, please call the shelter at 715-284-0251. Thank you

Flooring project complete. Kitty's and dogs are all settled back in to their new spots! Everything went as well as planned thanks to our great staff, volunteers, fosters, and community.

We are thankful for the donations we received that allowed the Jackson County Animal Shelter to make the improvements for the safety, cleanliness, and comfort for the animals, staff, volunteers and community:

🌷 The Jackson County Humane Society donated the cost of the flooring. We are grateful for their continued support
🌷 The Lion's Club and the Black River Falls Area Foundation donated funds that went toward a new chest freezer and a gas pressure washer.

Stop in to visit the animals and check out the improvements! Open hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1pm-6pm
Friday, Saturday 1pm-4pm
Tuesday & Sunday by appointment

Cooper needs a temporary home!‽ 2.5 yr old standard male multigenerational bernedoodle. Approx. 70 lbs. House trained. Likes to play fetch and snuggle (velcro dog!). Leash trained. Obeys several commands and is eager to learn more! Will do best in home as only dog/pet and with lots of love and exercise! His owner is moving to Black River Falls June 15 but cannot get into a pet friendly place until August 1st and wants to keep him nearby and be involved if foster home is open to that.
