At Northwood Vet Service, we are a mixed animal practice that offers health care to bovine, equine, canine, feline, small ruminates, swine, camilades, and some exotics. Being a small clinic we can provide personal care to our large and small animal clients. At Northwood Vet Service we are here for you to provide the best services possible.

Hart 2 Heart Walk today at the Lunda Park. We have Raffles and some Silent Auction Items and even a Quilt Raffle for a beautiful quilt that is kicking off today and tickets drawn at a later date.

Northwood Vet Service is sponsoring a grazing table again this year and they do a beautiful job so it’s always a special treat.

So come tot eh Lunda Park Shelter and join us help raise funds for the shelter animals.

As a veterinary clinic in a rural community, we have the unique privilege of watching families grow alongside us and being a small part of the lives of so many of our clients and community members. We celebrate their successes, share in their joys, and when our community experiences loss, we feel that loss too.

We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Adam Massman.

Over the years, our clinic was honored to have the opportunity to purchase a few of Adam’s animals at the fair. We have watched him grow and become more confident. It was our pleasure to support such a passionate, hardworking, and driven young man. Watching his dedication and love for his animals was something we will always remember.

Our connection to the Massman family goes even deeper, Brianne, Adam’s mom, has been a valued leader, coach, and mentor to our veterinary team. She has helped us solidify our mission and, perhaps even more importantly, helped us navigate some of the emotional weight that comes with working in veterinary medicine. For that, and for so much more, we are incredibly grateful.

Our hearts are heavy as we grieve the loss of such a wonderful young man. We extend our deepest sympathy to the entire Massman family—a family who has always shown up for others and given so much to our community and the communities around them.

We send our love, prayers, and support to the Massman family and to all those who are grieving Adam’s loss. We also hold close those who may be carrying other losses and heavy hearts during this difficult time.

This little guy has been at the clinic recovering after an enucleation was performed( surgery to remove eye). We have been helping him gain trust and confidence while healing. He is doing much better and is ready to start thinking about his forever home, but he comes with some past trauma. If you know someone that is patient and has had experience with dogs that have come from less than ideal homes send them our way. His adoption will be through the Jackson County Animal Shelter however, we are housing him here at the clinic since he is making so much progress we would love to help him find his forever home.

At Northwood Vet Service, LLC, we're proud to support the incredible young people in our community by purchasing animals at the fair.
These projects represent so much more than a day at the fair—they're the result of months of hard work, dedication, learning, and personal investment. Watching these youth develop valuable skills, build responsibility, and take pride in what they've accomplished is truly inspiring.

This year, we had the opportunity to purchase animals from Morgan Lindow, Cole Laufenberg, Sean Stetzer, Chase Kampen, Julia Brown, Leo Forsting, Pieper Nelson, and Julia Berg. We are grateful for the opportunity to support each of these outstanding exhibitors and recognize the effort they've put into their projects.

We're honored to play a small part in encouraging the next generation of agricultural leaders. Supporting local youth and their projects is something we value deeply, and we hope to continue doing so for many years to come.

Congratulations to all of this year's exhibitors, and thank you for your commitment, perseverance, and passion. We can't wait to see what you accomplish in the future! 🐄🐖🐑💙
