It has been a rough 6 weeks or so for Chase. In early July we took him in to examine a lump and a limp in his right fore paw. After a multitude of appointments and tests, it was determined to be hystosystic Saurcoma( an aggressive soft tissue cancer.) We opted to have 2 toes amputated to try to slow the cancer progression. He starts chemo this week. So far he has been a champ and is taking it all in stride.
The good news for our Whimsical Golden family is the cancer is not hereditary and poses no risk for any of his offspring.
