It’s the start of the month so we flipped to September on the calendar, only to see Bender and me and Sienna at last year’s auction! We had such a great time, we’re looking forward to this year! 🙂 Bender will be there again, and Tim as our talented auctioneer. FYI:

On Friday, July 3rd, we will not be seeing regular appointments and Sarah will not be answering the phone. We will all be staying home with our animals trying to enjoy the calm before the crazy, but Dr. Heather will be available for emergencies. Please reach out on the ER phone (253-217-8014) if you are an existing client and need something that can't wait until Monday, July 6th.

We've been discussing cougar attacks in our area, and looking for ways to deter them from getting our pets, livestock, or children! I found this useful page from wsda with ideas on how to protect yourself and your family. It's heartbreaking to lose a friend to a predator, but hopefully we can find ways to coexist peacefully so that these beautiful creatures can thrive without taking our pets:

Hello there and happy Friday! I just wanted to check in and remind people that the 4th of July is just 22 days away and on a Saturday. So, if your critters need any anxiety medications for the fireworks, make sure to reach out early. You can also pick up things like Zylkene, Composure Pro, C*D products etc to help for a few days. Let’s try to have a safe holiday weekend!

Scammers are out in full force right now, commenting on old posts and saying that they have tshirts and mugs etc for sale. DO NOT CLICK ON THEM!! We do not sell any carousel vet items. Please report and block any comment that is trying to sell you stuff or any of the comments that tag people. So rude and I’m sorry! I’m trying to catch them all as fast as I can but at this point I need a full time scam reporter. 😡😔

There is a store for merchandise supporting Steven's Animal Sanctuary, but the link will always take you to our specific website, nowhere else. Don’t give your money to these scammers!
