❤️🙏 Good evening, everyone. 🙏 ❤️
I've gone back and forth on whether to share this, but I feel it's important to let those of you who continue to support our small business know what's happening, as it may affect some of our services in the months ahead.
A couple of weeks ago, we received the news that Beth has been diagnosed with cancer, Multiple Myeloma. She began treatment this week and will be undergoing weekly injections for the next four months. While we're hopeful the early part of treatment will be manageable, the next major step will require us to spend about a month in Milwaukee as she prepares for a stem cell transplant.
Because we don't know exactly what the coming months will look like, we've made the difficult decision to stop offering in-home boarding for the foreseeable future. (If I've already confirmed your boarding request, nothing will change—you're all set.)
I also wanted to be transparent that there may be times when I need to cancel a nail trim appointment on short notice or have my daughter step in to help with an occasional in-home pet care visit. My commitment to providing the best care possible for your pets hasn't changed, but I appreciate your patience and understanding if we need a little flexibility along the way.
This is going to be a long journey, but Beth is incredibly strong, and we're grateful to have an amazing medical team, as well as the love and support of our family, friends, and wonderful clients.
Thank you for supporting our small business through every season of life. It means more than I can put into words.
Please keep Beth in your thoughts and prayers as she navigates this new chapter and the months of treatment ahead. We truly appreciate every kind word, prayer, and bit of encouragement.
We do also have a go fund me started, please dont feel obligated to do anything other than share it to get the word out. Again, you and your pets all mean the WORLD to us!
