I think it’s time I clear something up.
I know there have been rumors and speculation about whether Just Fur Dogs is staying open, and after everything that’s happened, I can understand why people have questions.
Since April of last year, life has thrown more at me than I ever expected. I dealt with some significant health issues, followed by a very difficult and unsafe situation in my personal life. After finally making it back home, an incident there left me with a hand injury requiring stitches. Not long after recovering from that, I broke my ankle and ended up needing surgery.
Needless to say, keeping a normal work schedule through all of that wasn’t always possible. There were closures I couldn't plan for, days I couldn't work, and times when I simply had to put getting through what was happening ahead of everything else.
But I never walked away from Just Fur Dogs.
This business has been a huge part of my life for years. I’ve watched puppies grow up, gotten attached to more dogs than I could ever count, and built relationships with clients and families that mean a lot to me. I love what I do, and I’m not done doing it.
I’m finally back home, safe, healing, and getting my life — and my business — back to normal.
For now, I’m working temporary limited hours and grooming small & medium dogs while I continue recovering. My bigger pups will be welcomed back as soon as I'm physically ready for them.
So if you’ve heard that Just Fur Dogs is closing, that I’m not coming back, or that I’m done grooming:
That simply isn’t true. I’m back. ❤️
And to those of you who checked on me, were patient with me, encouraged me, and have been waiting to bring your dogs back — thank you. It has meant more than you probably realize.
Now I’m ready to get back to doing what I love.
