World’s oldest dog, Bobi, dies at 31
The purebred Rafeiro do Alentejo, reported by the Guinness World Records to be the oldest dog to have ever lived, passed away on October 21 at his home in Conqueiros, Portugal, where he lived his entire life with the Costa family.
May Bobi rest in peace.
He certainly did have a good long life!

Greetings friends! It has been a while since I posted anything and here's why...Since the beginning of this new year my resolution was to take on all the patients I could and I did that. I worked harder than ever before and saw lots of lovely animals and their folks, but as a result took no time to rest and replenish my own "chi", or energy, and as a result got sick and had to take most of this week off to recouperate. During a meditation session it came to me that what I need, what we all need, is to find balance (not a new idea! I know).
So, to this goal I am reducing my hours as Vet 2 U, to Monday -Thursday, 9AM-5PM.
Let's see how this goes as I try to seek a satisfying work/home life balance!

Today is International Cat Day!
International cat day is celebrated every year on August 8. The occasion is significant as it helps educate people and raise awareness about the essence of cats worldwide. It is also honored to acknowledge the positive health impacts on humans that cats lead when they are made pets.
