I think that this may be true for people who live alone with a cat. The bonding will be stronger and if there is interaction with only 1 person then I can understand the mirroring. Add family members, or other cats or dogs and the cat will have his very own personality traits by bonding and learning to live with others, rather than mirror only one person. What do you think? It makes me wonder how Dr. Wiseman did his study. All of my cats have very different personality traits of their very own.
