❤️ A Little Update & A Request for Help ❤️

First, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated supplies, contributed financially, shared our posts, or supported The Kitten Mama in any way. I truly cannot express how much your kindness means to me.

Right now, I have 9 foster kittens in my care, 4 of whom are currently sick and requiring extra attention, medications, supplements, and supportive care. It’s been an incredibly exhausting and challenging few weeks, but I’m doing everything I possibly can to help these babies get healthy.

Unfortunately, caring for so many kittens, especially sick ones, means we’re going through supplies faster than I can keep up with.

Our current most-needed supplies are:

💉 Syringes (1ml 3ml 10ml 20ml)
❤️ Pro-Pectalin
🧻 Absorbent pads
🧽 Lysol disinfecting wipes
🥄 Plastic spoons
🧤 Disposable gloves
🐱 Litter

I’m also working with my veterinarian to get additional medications and a large tube of DiaGel to help manage the ongoing digestive issues. There’s also a possibility that the babies will need to return to the veterinarian for additional treatment and supportive care because they’re still struggling.

Unfortunately, these expenses are more than I can afford to cover on my own. Every donation, whether it’s a package of supplies or a few dollars toward veterinary care, makes a difference.

I also want to officially share that The Kitten Mama will be closed to new intakes for the remainder of 2026. This wasn’t an easy decision, but with nine kittens currently depending on me, I need to focus my time, energy, and resources on getting them healthy and ready for their forever homes.

Once all of my current foster kittens are healthy and have found their forever homes, I’m looking forward to taking a much-needed break. This year has been incredibly rewarding, but also physically and emotionally exhausting. I love what I do, and I love every single kitten that comes through my doors, but I also recognize that I NEED time to rest, recharge, and take care of myself before starting another chapter of fostering.

Please know that this doesn’t mean I’m giving up on rescue. I simply need to recognize my limits so I can continue giving these babies the care they deserve.

I genuinely could not care for nine foster kittens, especially four sick babies, without the generosity of this amazing community. Your donations help keep food in their bellies, clean bedding beneath them, medications available when they’re sick, and the supplies needed to give them a fighting chance.

Thank you for continuing to stand beside me and these babies, even during the difficult times. Your kindness and understanding mean more than you know. ❤️

❤️ Our three little fighters still have a long road ahead.

It’s been a while since we’ve shared an update on these three babies, and so much has happened!

After nearly two weeks of around-the-clock care and tube feeding, I’m so happy to share that all three are finally eating on their own! They’re enjoying their kitty soup (wet kitten food mixed with formula), and it’s such a relief to see them making progress.

Unfortunately, we’re still facing some serious challenges.

All three babies continue to struggle with diarrhea despite medications, supplements, and supportive care. Our smallest tabby girl has been having an especially difficult time maintaining her weight, and today she’s been noticeably weaker and less active than the other two.

I’ve been in contact with Dr. Hernandez, who is providing additional medication and DiaGel. Another veterinary visit may be necessary for more fluids, vitamins, and supportive treatment.

And this is where I have to ask for help again. ❤️

I know I’ve been asking for donations a lot lately, and believe me, I wish I didn’t have to. But the medical expenses keep adding up, and these babies still need us.

I’m waiting on an official estimate, but I’m anticipating another $300 in veterinary expenses, including their additional medications and possible follow-up care.

To everyone who has already donated, purchased supplies, shared our posts, or simply checked on these babies, THANK YOU. Your kindness has helped us get them this far, and I am incredibly grateful.

I’m exhausted, I’m worried, and some days this journey is emotionally overwhelming. But seeing these babies eating, growing, and fighting to get better reminds me why I do this.

If you’re able to contribute toward their medical expenses, even a few dollars would be greatly appreciated. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing their story helps more than you know.

❤️ A BIG thank you to Brooke’s Place and Rebecca for these wonderful donations! ❤️

Brooke sent us two cases of Fancy Feast kitten wet food, and Rebecca sent us a microwave heating pad and some adorable blankets for the babies!

With so many little ones in our care right now, we are going through supplies faster than ever. The wet food is especially helpful with all the babies transitioning to eating on their own, and the heating pad and blankets will help keep our tiniest fosters warm, cozy, and comfortable.

I am so incredibly grateful for everyone who continues to support my little nursery. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and helps me give these babies everything they need to grow and thrive.

Thank you both so much for thinking of my babies and helping me care for them! 🩷💜

A little morning sweetness from our precious Lillian. 🩷🥹

It’s been a stressful few days here at The Kitten Mama nursery, filled with worry, medications, and lots of extra care. But this morning, I wanted to share something a little lighter.

Just our sweet baby girl, all snuggled up in her cozy little bed, fighting those sleepy eyes before finally drifting off to dreamland. 🥹💕

These quiet, innocent little moments are such a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do. Even on the hardest days, there’s still so much sweetness and joy in this nursery.

Good morning from Lillian! 🩷

Piper’s Health Update ❤️

Our sweet Piper is still battling severe, persistent diarrhea, and we’re doing everything we can to get this little girl feeling better!

Piper has been struggling with digestive issues on and off for weeks. Just when we think she’s finally improving, the diarrhea comes back, sometimes worse than before. It’s been incredibly frustrating and exhausting trying to figure out exactly what’s causing it.

She’s been treated for intestinal parasites, has received deworming medication, and is now on additional medication prescribed by our veterinarian. We’re also giving her Pro-Pectalin every 8 hours, along with supportive care to help manage her diarrhea and protect her irritated little bottom.

With how severe her diarrhea has been, we’re constantly monitoring her appetite, hydration, weight, and overall condition. She’s also having to stay separated from the other kittens while we work through all of this.

We’re now adding Hill’s Prescription Diet Gastrointestinal Biome Chicken & Vegetable Stew to her care plan. This is a specialized veterinary diet formulated to support digestive health and help manage certain types of diarrhea. We’re hoping it will give her digestive system the extra support it needs.

Between her medications, supplements, special food, absorbent pads, cleaning supplies, and ongoing veterinary care, the expenses are adding up quickly.

❤️ We could really use some help with Piper’s care!

Her prescription food comes in small 2.9 oz cans, and it’s considerably more expensive than regular kitten food. We’re also running low on Pro-Pectalin, which Piper and our three emergency intake babies are currently receiving every 8 hours.

If anyone would like to help us purchase her prescription food, replenish her supplements, or contribute toward her veterinary expenses, we would be incredibly grateful.

Piper is such a sweet little girl, and she deserves to feel better. We’re not giving up on finding answers and getting her healthy.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support these babies and helps us provide the care they need. ❤️

❤️ Our Kitten Nursery Could Use a Few Supplies! ❤️

First, I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated supplies to help care for my foster babies! Your generosity has been such a blessing, especially with everything we’ve had going on lately. Because of you, we are currently well stocked on baby wipes, kitten formula, and wet and dry kitten food! 🥰

However, with Piper’s ongoing diarrhea and my three emergency intake babies still needing extra care, we are going through certain supplies incredibly fast.

Here are the things we are currently running low on and could really use help with:

❤️ PRO-PECTALIN — HIGH PRIORITY!
Piper and all three emergency intake babies are currently receiving Pro-Pectalin every 8 hours to help with their diarrhea. With four kittens taking it, we’re going through it quickly, and I only have about 2 days’ worth left!

🧻 Absorbent Pads — HIGH PRIORITY!
Between Piper’s severe diarrhea and the three babies, I am going through absorbent pads like crazy! I only have one pack left, so these are another big need right now.

🧽 Cleaning Supplies

* Lysol disinfecting wipes
* Paper towels
* Disposable gloves

Keeping everything clean and sanitized is especially important with sick kittens, and these are supplies I use constantly.

💉 Syringes

* 1 mL
* 3 mL
* 10 mL
* 20 mL

Between tube feeding the three babies, administering medications, and providing supportive care, I have used a tremendous number of syringes. My supply is getting very low!

🐱 Litter Box Liners
These help make cleaning and changing litter boxes much easier, especially when dealing with diarrhea.

❤️ How You Can Help

If anyone would like to donate supplies, you can find my Amazon wishlist and other ways to help through my Linktree:

I know I’ve been asking for quite a bit of help lately, but caring for so many kittens, especially ones needing medical attention and extra support, takes an incredible amount of supplies.

Please know how much I appreciate every single donation. Whether you’ve sent food, formula, cleaning supplies, medical supplies, or anything else, you have helped me keep these babies fed, clean, comfortable, and cared for.

Thank you for continuing to support me and these precious little lives. I truly couldn’t do all of this without you! ❤️

🩷 Lillian Update! 🩷

Our sweet little Lillian is officially 5 weeks old! 🥹

This beautiful baby girl now weighs 15 ounces and has officially graduated from bottle feeding! She’s eating her kitty soup like a big girl!

It’s hard to believe how much she’s grown since arriving in my care at just 8.3 ounces. She’s becoming more independent, curious, and absolutely full of personality!

I’m so proud of this tiny girl and all the progress she’s making. Just look at that precious little face! 🩷🥰

A huge thank you to my mom, Terrie Burkett, for donating two bags of much-needed litter, and to Blake Johnson for donating a crate that I needed for little Lillian! 🩷

These donations are such a big help in keeping my nursery stocked and making sure every kitten has what they need. I appreciate you both so much!

A little note to everyone who has sent donations: With everything going on in the nursery lately, I’ve fallen a little behind on my donation thank-you posts. I’m doing my best to catch up!

If you’ve sent something and haven’t seen it posted yet, please don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know! I never want anyone’s kindness or generosity to go unrecognized.

Thank you all for continuing to support me and these babies. It truly means so much! 🩷
