☀️🐱 New Pet Welcome: Phineas! 🐾

Meet Phineas, a lady who knows that life’s little luxuries are the BEST luxuries. 💛 Give her a cozy sunbeam, her favorite chair, and a little peace and quiet, and she’s living her very best cat life.

Honestly, Phineas, we get it. Sometimes the best adventures involve absolutely no moving at all. 😂

We’re so happy to welcome this cozy queen to the Paws Around Motown family! We can’t wait to make sure her days are filled with comfort, care, and all the little things that make her whiskers twitch with happiness. 🐾☀️

Drop a ☀️ in the comments if you’re also a professional sunbeam enthusiast!

🎃 Okay, pet parents. We need to know.

Some pets LIVE for the spotlight. Others would like to formally request that we stop putting hats on them immediately. 😂

With Halloween creeping up, where does your fur fam land?

👻 Full costume, please. The more ridiculous, the better.
🎃 Festive bandana? We can work with that.
🙄 “Absolutely not, human.” Insert dramatic side-eye here.

Whether your pup is ready for their red carpet moment or firmly believes costumes are a violation of their personal boundaries, we want to see it.

Drop a pic or tell us below: What’s your pet’s Halloween style?

We’re ready for the spooky, the silly, and the deeply offended. 🐾

Happy World Animal Day! 🐾

We feel pretty darn lucky that our days are filled with so many different kinds of animals — each with their own personalities, quirks, needs, and very special ways of stealing our hearts. 💛

Whether they have fur, feathers, or scales, we love them all. From the wiggle-butts to the wing flaps, the whiskers to the tiny scales… every animal we care for deserves compassion, enrichment, safety, and a whole lotta love.

Being trusted with their care is something we never take for granted. We’re just a little blip in their lives, but we’re going to make that blip pretty pawsome. 🐾

Happy World Animal Day from our whole pack — fur, feathers, scales and all! ❤️

National Animal Safety Month is your friendly reminder to do a quick safety check for your fur fam. 🐾

A few little things can make a BIG difference:

🏷️ Check those tags: Are your dog’s ID tags current and readable?
🐕 Check the fit: Collar or harness should be snug and secure — not too loose, not too tight.
💉 Check those vaccines: Make sure your pup is up to date with their vet-recommended vaccines.

It only takes a few minutes, but future-you (and your dog!) will be very glad you did.

Because keeping our VIPs safe isn’t just part of good pet care — it’s part of loving them well. ❤️

Paws up for prepared pet parents! 🐾

🚒🐾 Happy National Fire Pup Day! 🐾🚒

Today we’re giving a BIG round of ap-paws to the brave pups who serve alongside our firefighters — and to every pup who somehow manages to be both a professional-grade good dog AND the neighborhood’s cutest little hero.

From working dogs who have a very important job to the pups who faithfully supervise from the couch… we’re grateful for every tailwag, wet nose, and brave heart. ❤️

Because heroes come in all shapes, sizes, and occasionally very fluffy packages.

Paws up for the fire pups! 🐾🔥

One last sniff for the road. 🌸🐾

Before the flowers fade and fall officially takes over, our pups are soaking up every last bloom, breeze, and good sniff they can get.

Because really… if there’s a flower to sniff, a dog's gotta sniff it. 😂

Here’s to savoring the little things 🍂💛

Your cat’s whiskers are basically tiny environmental sensors — constantly taking in what’s happening around them. 🐱

Think of them as your cat’s built-in WiFi… always connected, always collecting data, and *very* much not available for Netflix streaming. 😂

Pretty pawrific, right?

Proof that happiness has four paws, a goofy grin, and approximately zero interest in hiding it. 🐾

These faces? THIS is why we do what we do.

Every tail wag, happy trot, sniffari discovery, and full-body wiggle is a little reminder that our job isn’t just about walks and visits. It’s about giving pets more joy, enrichment, connection, and days that feel really, really good.

Swipe through for your daily dose of dog happiness. 💛

And if your pup has a smile this big, we wanna see it — drop your happiest fur fam photo in the comments! 👇
